Room was a bit small for a king size bed and there was a leak by the bathroom toilet so we were relocated to a different room. So despite the relocation nuisance we were compensated a free night stay and some Bonvoy Marriott points. Pool area was very clean and the water was a nice temperature. The one bartender was especially nice and all of the other service people were very polite and cordial.

Teanna provided the most warm and kind hospitality! It is outgoing, helpful staff like Teanna that make the difference! I am Marriott Titanium Elite, and I stay at Marriotts all over the world. This Courtyard is outstanding! I will be coming back! And the grits were amazing too!

The staff was very polite and helpful during the check- in and check- out process. Moreover, they answered our questions about the area and provided insightful tips. However, our room smelled very musty. Furthermore, the bathroom had a sulfuric, pungent odor(yes, before we used it!), and the toilet base was leaking a bit, as we noticed on our second night. We did not report these issues until check-out, as we figured it was easier to deal with the issues than have to either relocate our belongings or invite a maintenance person into our space to fix the issues. To be fair, when I did report these issues at check-out time, the staff member was extremely apologetic and offered us free coffee and breakfast in an attempt to do right by us. Unfortunately, we were on a time schedule and had to leave, but we thoroughly appreciated the gracious gesture.

Nate, the valet driver, was the best. We were impressed with his service. He assisted my boyfriend in getting there best parking spot and advised us that it would be free to park where we parked for Sunday hours. His demeanor was just excellent in his he handled the situation.
