Hotel is well maintained to keep the Mysore Palace look… staff is friendly and attend to visitor needs on priority…. Taste of food is good… play of traditional music gives touch of culture… perfect premium place for stay for Indian families and foreign visitors

Was a nice hotel, but is very dated and isn’t clean. Bugs flying around the room, can hear everything outside. For the price, expect a tad better. Overall staff was friendly and would stay again for the convenience.

Hotel is very elegant and beautiful, they have kept the history live within the property. It's well maintained and staff is very friendly. Food is good. And do not forget to hear story from Sneha, she is very good at explaining the history of hotel.

I stayed four nights with my wife, daughter, 90 year old mother and her helper. The hotel is a heritage building and used to be the guest house for the British. It has been charmingly restored with lovely artifacts and the rooms have been nicely renovated. The pool and gym are good. The staff are wonderful. Special thanks to Sneha, Guest Relations Manager for providing an excellent overview and planning our 4 day itenirary and to Shivanna who served us all our meals with a wonderful smile. Sirajul Sheki, Vishwanath and Shivaraj all treated us so well and the food is amazing! We had all 4 dinners in the hotel, something we would normally never do, but the food and setting are just so good! Thanks to tandoor chef Balram who cooks excellent kebabs in front of you while you enjoy drinks. The spa treatments were also really good, although the woman who makes the spa bookings is less than efficient and actually decided it was ok to delay one of our bookings because another guest decided to extend his session at the last minute! But this was our only negative experience and the manager immediately offered a 20% discount to make up for this. Really looking forward to my next visit!

I had a wonderful stay with my family, and the room was easily one of the highlights of the experience. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a unique charm that made it feel more like staying in a royal palace than a regular hotel. It's not the cheapest place to stay, but the experience truly justifies the price. One of my favorite parts of the property was the outdoor area. A magnificent old mango tree provides plenty of natural shade, with comfortable seating underneath where you can relax and enjoy your meals. A large neem tree nearby adds to the peaceful surroundings, and watching squirrels play among the branches made the whole setting feel even more special. It's the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained, and the overall environment was calm, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Whether you're looking to unwind or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings, this hotel offers a wonderful balance of luxury, comfort, and a touch of heritage. The room itself deserves special mention. Instead of listing every feature, I'll simply say that it speaks for itself. From the elegant interiors to the thoughtful design, everything has been done with great care. The moment you enter, you immediately get the feeling that you're somewhere special. The location is another big advantage. Mysore Palace is just a short distance away. I would recommend visiting either around 7:00–7:30 PM when the palace is beautifully illuminated or after 9:00 AM if you want to avoid the morning crowds. Throughout our stay, we felt completely safe. The property has a secure, peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for families. The food was good and enjoyable. While it wasn't the main highlight of our stay, everyone has different tastes, and we were satisfied with the quality.

We stayed in Rm104. Beautiful property, clean and spacious rooms, outdoor restaurants seating, great amenities, delicious food and absolutely lovely staff. We stayed at Metropole for 11 days and in the time the staff treated us like family. Meal customization, cleaning services and other services were extremely well done. Must stay at this location for atleast 4-5 days to enjoy the ambience.

This is my first time in mysore and I have chosen a beautiful place to stay food was delicious rooms are beautiful colonial architecture staffs are attentive My big applause to Ms Sneha she is amazing very informative and professional planing to come back again
