Hilton Mystic

Great stay at the hotel, across the road from the aquarium and a little village. Highly recommend visiting a bakery called sift downtown.

Hotel was really nice- room was a good size and clean. Check in was efficient and fast- very friendly ladies at check in.

Everything was just what we expected.

Overall, the Mystic Hilton is a nice property. The exercise room was adequate and the hallways were quiet. On our only full day, we did not receive room cleaning service. We were told that the staff was overwhelmed, so a staff member brought up towels and other needed supplies around 8pm. Some of the apparatuses around the shower/jacuzzi area are in need of minor repair. The Irons restaurant had a good variety of food and attentive service. When I asked for the temperature to be lowered in the exercise room, it was done right away, which was appreciated.

The facilities are a bit dated. The curtain in my room was ripped. The heat did not work properly and, when it did, the noise as extremely loud.

This Hotel was by far the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. We booked an anniversary trip Easter weekend. The first thing we noticed was that the Heat - A/C unit was extremely loud. We called down to the front desk, and they said someone would fix it. We went to dinner and upon returning found nothing was done. Upon returning, we decided to take a bath in the jacuzzi that we spent extra on. The Jucuzzi was full of hair, both little curly hair and long hair. It was disgusting! We did not want to step foot in that tub again, to say the least. The next day, I went to take a shower, and the faucet was leaking all over, which made the shower have no pressure, and hardly no water was coming out of the shower head. I called the front desk and requested a room change. The lady at the front desk said they had no rooms available. She asked if I would accept a credit off our bill, and I agreed. We stayed 3 night here and received a 50 dollar credit. This was and still is not acceptable. I wrote Hilton hotels and email explaining our stay and received no response from them. I am very disappointed!

The Hotel is older but rehabbed appropriately. We did have some issues with the toilet in our room, as well s a loose shower head and a drip in the ceiling. The pool was kind of gross; the water was a merky color, and did not smell of chlorine. The bar downstairs had decent food and drinks but a VERY rude male bartender (I didn’t catch his name ). I would say this hotel is fine to stay at, but don’t expect the Ritz Carlton.

Very nice hotel, always enjoy staying at this specific Hilton.
