Stayed for 1 night with friends. We had a triple room which was massive.
Room was comfortable and clean with great facilities.
We had food in the Bistro down stairs and it was excellent. Food and service was top class even though we had a large group of 14 people.

Room was not ready for check in until 4:40pm! This is so late in my opinion for a check in. We were seated in The Bistro for dinner, lovely bright room but chairs awfully uncomfortable so we ate & got back to Vi’s Bar as fast as we could! Lovely spacious triple room, very quiet, beds comfortable. Staff in The Bistro very friendly.

We were asked to sign a document at the end of the meal which showed wines we did not consume and were told it was far internal purposes!! At 21:49 we were unable to get a pint as "lines were being cleaned for tomorrow". We had to go to nearby pub instead When we came for our prebooked meal they tried to serve us in the bar instead of the dining room Unable to get a coffee and scone in afternoon tea area about 16:00
