A really good and clean apartment with all the ustensils that you need (hairdryer, dishwashing liquid, whasing machine, ...). Very spacious and calm, we had a good sleep. The apartment is near a tramway station (5 minutes), it's a very good location in 30 minutes, we were in the city centre. There is just an only little thing that was that there weren't a lot of informations about the dustbin of the apartment and it was difficult for us to find the location of the bin at the outside. However, in general we recommend this flat and this address.

Came to the first hotel in Sweden, the first impression is very good! Hotel check-in in the afternoon, not in advance. But the front desk service is good! There are also free fruits, drinks and snacks. The surroundings of the hotel are a bit far from the scenic spots, 2-3km away from the old city, the hotel has a kitchen, and there are supermarkets around, so you can cook your own meals easily!

2nd stay in this grand old building with authentic 19th century atmosphere and excellent front desk service.. Still with elegance and luxury feeling although a bit fading due to an obvious need of maintenance. Upgraded to a superior room with nice old décor and nice sea view. In particular the wooden balcony and the windows seriously need refurbishment. Breakfast served in the faboulous restaurant hall. Quality is unfortunately still below the level you would expect from an old, classy hotel. To be improved! The new restaurant built at the sea front may give restaurant guests a view experience but it does not add anything good to the hotel itself, visually or noise-wise. At the last visit six years ago it was said: ‘Refurbishment will be started soon’. Same story this year, same story every year? When it really begins, please do it carefully to keep the atmosphere intact.

Great place to stay centrally in Stockholm. We Walker everywhere and did not take public transportation at all. Fantastic views from the room. We chose a superior room with private bathroom and everything lived up to our expectations. You just have to remember that this is a budget hotel and hostel. Very cheap for a central location in Stockholm. We visited in January, but the room was nice and warm. Bathroom was not heated, but they had placed an electric heater that we turned on while using the bathroom and that was just fine for us. The staff was lovely and allowed us to check in several hours early. We had only asked if we could leave our bag, but they had the room available. Probably possible due to low occupancy in January. I loved the unique stay and would definitely recommended. Would like to visit again in the spring or summertime.

The location of this place is exceptional. It is located on the top of Stockholm Central Station, so tram, trains and Airport (Arlanda) Express are all right there. The hotel is modern and located centrally with great restaurants and other attractions. Yes, it is not in Gamla Stan, but we walked there easily, about 25 minutes. This place has all the shopping areas nearby as well. The rooms are way too small. It was just impossible for the 3 of us (Adults) and I wish there were bigger rooms. The breakfast is also good, (again, it grades only a 3.8 or 3.9 out 5 because, have stayed in other Scandinavian hotels where the breakfast was just too good [in the range of 4.5 to 4.8]). The hotel also loans bicycles to their guests and it is first come first served, which is very good. Hotel service staff are okay. I would stay here for the location and convenience, and around this area, this is one of the best. If willing to compromise on the location, then there may be other hotels that are better. Not sure.

Room is very very small , so anyone have issue with space , I don’t recommend , and if u have issue with air ventilation also cannot , only little fan provided with no external air

We spent 3 nights at this hostel. The facilities were good, the bathroom is clean and the bed is comfortable. Our room for the first night could not connect to WiFi, we were disappointed about that. But we requested to change our room on the 2nd day morning and the staff are good to help us with this. Everything here are digitalise and convenient. The common area is large and comfy. There are a few computers for us to use. There are also lockers rental service if you arrive in Stockholm early in the morning before the check in time. The location is great, it takes only around 10minutes to walk to the central station.

Unfortunately for this place they had a big party going all through the night and people kept running between floors and open and slamming doors between midnight at 4am. As it turns out you don’t need a key to ride the lift or to open doors! which we found out at 3 in the morning when someone came in to our room by simply pulling on the door open. Upon arrival I was waiting with my kids I. Reception for a good 5 minutes for someone turned up and give us a key. And lastly you can’t have your taxi drop you at the entrance as the there is no road up to the hotel so you have to walk 100 m with your bags to get here. Rooms are clean, staff were friendly enough but I will never stay here again. Not even if it’s offered to me for free.

GGuest UserSatisfied with finishing, simple and comfortable, breakfast is good, unexpectedly providing dinner, although very simple salad and bread, but it does save trouble and money. There is no bottled drinking water in the room, and there are no disposable items. During the stay, cleaning service is not provided, which is extremely environmentally friendly.

GGuest User The atmosphere of the entire hotel is very pleasant, elegant but not ostentatious, colourful and friendly. At first glance, the hotel may seem to be too far from the city center, but public transportation is excellent, the transportation hub is only 3 bus stops away and the neighborhood is very pleasant. The hotel receptionists are very kind and helpful. The room is beautiful and well equipped, we were especially pleased with the bathroom shelf, which misses in many hotelrooms. We loved the city map on the wall. We had the most comfortable bed of our life. Providing mineral water and coffee daily in the room is a nice gesture. The breakfast is plentiful, with a wide selection and quality ingredients

GGuest UserThis is a great hotel to stay at, especially if you are looking for something a little more economical but with all the amenities of a high class hotel. There are a lot of great things about it, but one of the nicest is that is bas has it's own ferry stop. I'd you buy an SL pass, you can get to all the major areas of the city very easily. The rooms are well taken care of and big, by European standards. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've seen, and I've been all over the world! The staff is always kind and helpful. We ended up ordering a lot of room service, as we really struggled with the time change. The one negative is that because it isn't located in one of the areas with a lot going on, if you just want to pop out to the 7/11, there isn't much close by. But, if you want that kind of location, Stockholm is an expensive city and you will pay for it. For us, the location was great. Amazing water views and being able to hope on the ferry for a quick ride when you needed something was no big deal.

The rooms are very clean with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. There is a fresh wood smell from the pine floors and oak furniture. There is both a ferry and a bus stop within a 5-minute walk from the front door. Their breakfast is my favorite hotel breakfast out of all the places I’ve been in the world. There are multiple options for fresh breads, yogurts, breakfast meats, eggs cooked multiple ways, a medley of juices, and fresh coffee. The staff member named Adis was very kind and knowledgeable, and she represented both the hotel and the Swedish people well. The price was fair as well. Nacka Strand’s neighborhood is quiet compared to the middle of Stockholm, and there is a large grocery store named ICA Maxi a 20-minute walk away. There is also a shopping mall named Nacka Forum a 20-minute walk away. I would say it takes 20 minutes or less via public transportation to the middle of Stockholm. Hotel J is the best place to stay near the Stockholm area for most.
