Nagahama Hotels with Breakfast

I chose Daiwa because of its location is by the lake location and not too far away from Kurokabe distance. Daiwa is famous for good price performance ratio, meaning not expensive room rate yet providing quality room and service. The hotel lobby is grand, and you pick up the bathroom amenities at lobby yourselves. Check in was smooth but you have to bring your own luggage to your room. The hotel charge you Yen 500 for parking per night but give you Yen 500 voucher in return which you can spend in the hotel, not a bad deal. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to the Nagahama station for hotel guests if you are not driving. Even taking a taxi from the station to hotel is not more than 5 minutes. The station is just a few minutes walks to the famous Kurokabe Plaza and its surrounding waling streets. Yukata is available on each floor lobby where you pick your selection and size. We were allocated at the corner room which is very spacious, overlooking the lake and the pier, with windows on two sides, and therefore, very bright when the weather is sunny. We reserved a dinner in the booking with the hotel. The dinner is served in the function. It was a multi course dinner with various cooking method of Omi beef, including stew, hot pot and grill, plus a variety of other dishes such as sashimi. Server is very good and the staff are trying hard to communicate with us in English. The onsen on the ground floor is not very big, but the two nights we stayed are Friday and Saturday, so there were extremely many people. There is a souvenir shop which opens until 9pm, a bit early. After we checked out the hotel, we walked around the Nagahama Castle Park which is five minutes walk away from hotel. The castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the sixteen century but the current castle is a re-built. We dined at the hotel lobby tea lounge for lunch. But the meal was probably the worst meal I have ever had in Japan over the years. I think a tea should be fine with a good view of the lake. The location of the hotel, and the service quality makes an ideal choice when staying in Nagahama.

Staying at this hotel can be said to be the most correct and warm decision of my whole trip around the lake. It was a Japanese-style old hotel with a very good aesthetic. The toilet and bathroom decoration is also modern, the equipment is new, very shocking, well maintained, even more than many Japanese business hotels I have stayed in. There is a small courtyard outside the Japanese-style room where I live, and there is no cave. The breakfast at the hotel is also quite rich, with a wide variety, many are also local ingredients in Wuhu, the taste is also good, it is highly recommended ～ The point is here! The host and hostess of Sangu Hotel is super warm and courteous! After learning that I am a foreigner, I also take care of it! When I went to Changbin Wharf and Datong Temple, the owner took the initiative to lead the way. On the way, he also introduced the famous things of Changbin. The male owner's hair was a bit white but full of vitality. He must be very fond of the customs of Changbin. Before leaving, the two shopkeepers also sent me a set of postcards for the Changbin Lushan Festival. What a lovely couple of people 😄 I was traveling alone and chose this hotel by mistake. I never thought it was the biggest surprise of this trip. I stayed in Nagahama for a short time. It was a day and a night, and the sky was not beautiful, and it was mostly raining. But fortunately, I met the Sangu Hotel, and the memory of Nagabin is the warmth of spring rain. I wish the owner and his wife a healthy and healthy couple, and I will stay for a few more nights for Sangu Hotel if I pass by Changbin in the future.

On the day of the fireworks festival in August, all the inn within walking distance of Nagahama station was full and stayed here. I think the season fee of 9800 yen is beyond the category of business hotels, and the accommodation fee that usually hears around 6000 yen in the concentration of fireworks guests is 9800 yen with breakfast. Anyway, I think it is a hotel that is not suitable for sightseeing in the black wall district at least. The single room with double bed was renovated and large and comfortable, but when you pull out the key card, all power is out, so you can't keep the room cooled. Check out at 10 o'clock is also a business hotel. If you take a season fee, I would like you to remind me that you will take a shuttle bus to the station or at least when you go out, you will not be able to secure your return leg.

All rooms are equipped with open-air baths. The bath is large toward the lake and uses care when the ship is out, but there is an open feeling for the view. Heating is necessary but you can enter at any time. There was a yogibo cushion and massage chair in the room. The room meal was normal but delicious. The employees were also polite and comfortable. It is not bitten at the time when mosquitoes start to appear, but it may have been better to borrow mosquito incense at the inn. Generally, there is no gorgeous or luxurious such as Arima Onsen, but it is a good inn for Cospa if you think of a room with an open-air bath.

They are equipped with refrigerators. After a tiring day during the day, return to this villa and take a relaxing hot bath. Stayed one night on the way back from the Sanin region to Tokyo. It wasn't that this was our destination, it was because everything was just right and met the conditions, such as the distance during the trip, the location such as the distance from the interchange, and the budget. I didn't have any particular feelings about it, so I stayed without collecting information in advance, but in conclusion, it was an unexpectedly good inn. There seems to be a lot of bad reviews here. However, looking at the time of stay, it seems that there are many old ones. Also, I felt that reviews from people who stayed with pets tended to be more severe than people who stayed alone. The building is still fairly new and looks nicer inside than outside. It looks like it was renovated about 10 years ago. The rooms are relatively large with high ceilings, not luxurious by any means, but in excellent condition. Customer service was neither possible nor impossible. Insects seemed to come in even through the screen door, so it was written in the guest room that the window should not be opened. There is no particular scenery outside, and you can only see the surrounding mountains. The hot spring is a cold mineral spring that is heated and fed. There are clear hot water and dark brown cloudy hot water, but it seems that the color changes depending on the water level at which the source is the same. When I visited, the indoor bath was transparent, and the open-air bath with a roof was dark brown, but there was almost no smell in either. You can tell it's a mineral spring by the way it warms up. Dinner and breakfast are served at the restaurant. It's not a particularly special dish, but it's not badly seasoned and tastes good. However, the restaurant was clearly understaffed, and orders for drinks tended to arrive late. Other than eating and taking a bath, there are no particular incidental facilities. It was an inn that I can recommend to people who don't mind relaxing in the hot water and doing nothing.
