Hotels Near Dougan-ji Temple Kannon-do Temple Hall in Nagahama

The location is very good, there is its own parking lot, if it is to eat, it should feel good, but I don't know how to communicate with the boss, the hotel serves breakfast and dinner is very simple. Health can be, that is, the public bathroom arrangement is lacking.

This hotel on the shores of Lake Biwa near Nagahama Castle I'm currently staying for a week. I chose Daiwa because of its location is by the lake location and not too far away from Kurokabe distance. Daiwa is famous for good price performance ratio, meaning not expensive room rate yet providing quality room and service. The hotel lobby is grand, and you pick up the bathroom amenities at lobby yourselves. Check in was smooth but you have to bring your own luggage to your room. The hotel charge you Yen 500 for parking per night but give you Yen 500 voucher in return which you can spend in the hotel, not a bad deal. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to the Nagahama station for hotel guests if you are not driving. Even taking a taxi from the station to hotel is not more than 5 minutes. The station is just a few minutes walks to the famous Kurokabe Plaza and its surrounding waling streets. Yukata is available on each floor lobby where you pick your selection and size. We were allocated at the corner room which is very spacious, overlooking the lake and the pier, with windows on two sides, and therefore, very bright when the weather is sunny. We reserved a dinner in the booking with the hotel. The dinner is served in the function. It was a multi course dinner with various cooking method of Omi beef, including stew, hot pot and grill, plus a variety of other dishes such as sashimi. Server is very good and the staff are trying hard to communicate with us in English. The onsen on the ground floor is not very big, but the two nights we stayed are Friday and Saturday, so there were extremely many people. There is a souvenir shop which opens until 9pm, a bit early. After we checked out the hotel, we walked around the Nagahama Castle Park which is five minutes walk away from hotel. The castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the sixteen century but the current castle is a re-built. We dined at the hotel lobby tea lounge for lunch. But the meal was probably the worst meal I have ever had in Japan over the years. I think a tea should be fine with a good view of the lake. The location of the hotel, and the service quality makes an ideal choice when staying in Nagahama.

We used 2 nights on a 3-day trip to Nagahama, Kinomoto, Takatsuki, maibara, waking ｹ I used it for 2 nights [the main building ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ 16m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 140cm x 2 rooms, ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ also has 14m2, 18m2 ﾀｲﾌﾟ in the annex. Reference: Main building ﾂｲﾝ:32m2, Main building ｽｲｰﾄ 64m2]. The factor that chose this is that there is a boarding station of [Biwa Lake steamship] which is the foot of takeyushima sightseeing in front of this, and [Nagahama] and ｲﾀﾘｱ [ｳﾞｪﾛｰﾅ (the stage of ﾛﾐｵ and ｼﾞｭﾘｴｯﾄ)] are sister cities affiliated with ﾛﾋﾞｰ and so on. This is because I knew that I had it (if you are staying at ｶｯﾌﾟﾙ, it is placed in ﾛﾋﾞｰ) This small magazine [PHOTOGENIC HOTEL (see attached photo)] is a reference for taking commemorative photographs in ﾎﾃﾙ. Here I took breakfast twice, but ｺﾛﾅ Considering infection prevention ｽﾀｲﾙ is provided to each person, considering the content and amount I recommend it (see attached photo, for consecutive nights, the contents of the offer were changed). There are ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑ in each room, but there is also a large bath on the 7th floor of the main building. ﾎﾃﾙ as a whole, it is also called 82 rooms (67 rooms in the main building, 15 rooms in the annex) There is no ｶﾞｻｶﾞｻ feeling that tends to be in ﾛﾋﾞｰ large ﾎﾃﾙ ﾛﾋﾞｰ atmosphere is good Because it is a private travel accommodation As ﾋﾟｯﾀﾘ. ３ We stayed １ in early month. Because it is just at the entrance of the maibara station Shinkansen, access is uncomplained. However, the choice of Tel is almost the choice here. There is a supermarket near the station, but it is closed in late hours. There are no shops around. There is a convenience store in Naka station, but it is closed late at night, so in that case go to Family Mart behind the hotel. It is about ３ minutes walk from the hotel. I was impressed by the ”meet God” when I found this Family Mart because the hotel clothes were ２３ hours past. The room and service are ”safe, stable Toyoko Inn”. There is no more or less.

Hikone is good for a day trip from Kyoto. But if you prefer to stay for a night, then this hotel is a reasonable option. I drove. Needed GPS to help me find its location because its signboard was not that obvious. But you’ll find it, anyway. I opted the half board option: dinner was good and breakfast OK. Typical of an onsen hotel: nice hot spring and a delicious dinner. Not an upmarket choice. But decent and served its purpose. I was happy. The public bath itself was a big small. I went there in the evening and morning. I was the only person around near 7:00 am. Enjoyed both the hot spring and its quietness.

After a crowded Kyoto, I love the peaceful and tranquil environment of this beautiful onsen hotel-ryokan and charming castle town. Everything about the hotel speaks of relaxation and well-being. It's only a 7-8min walk away from Hikone Train Station but there is a hotel shuttle that leaves at 9, 10 and 11 am if you need a drop off. Pick up could probably be arranged too. The hotel offers a pretty outdoor terrace with Castle view, an on-site spa with massage, a library lounge with free drinks till 10pm, a foot reflex corner and a compact onsen with a silk bath (all with Castle view) and hot stone benches. I had the whole onsen to myself in the evening, so it was very relaxing. The staff are kind and lovely too, making an effort to explain all the services and amenities in English. The buffet breakfast was also one of the better ones I've seen in my trips to Japan. If you're visiting the Castle, the entrance road is right outside the hotel. The main castle road is about 5-10 min away but you will pass by a famous Japanese confectionery, Taneya and Club Harie. Their souvenirs are one that even the Japanese cherish. I would wish to come here again with my partner one day. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

長期利用したが、コスパがとても良かった。 周辺：彦根駅前でアクセスが良いにも関わらず、繁華街の駅口の反対口である東口で車通りも少ないので静かで快適。最寄りのコンビニが駅反対口の為、若干距離を感じる方もいるかも…下の階に居酒屋とイタリアン、ホテル出てすぐ近くに中華と和洋中レストランがある。駅反対口まで行けばアルプラザや飲み屋さん定食屋さんが多数。ホテルのある東口側では、ホテルから徒歩10分くらいでドラッグストア、イオンタウンやローソン、コメダ、スシロー、ブロンコビリー、ラーメン屋さんなどがある。 部屋：13m²で140cmのベッドがメインをとっている。白を基調とした壁紙、大きい窓があり、圧迫感を感じない。虫が多数入ってくる為に窓は締め切りとなっている。加湿空気清浄機が各部屋に置いてあり、水を入れて自動モードにして置くと乾燥しなくて良い。エアコン、テレビ、冷蔵庫、机、椅子あり。コンセントが机に2つ、ベッド横に２つ。机はパソコンを置いて作業するのに十分な大きさで、照明も明るくできて作業しやすい。 ベッドはブックライトがあり、マットレスも宣伝しているだけあって寝心地良い。枕はフロントでもう1個借りられる。 シャワーは水を出す際に、洗面台と切り替えするタイプ。暖水と冷水の2つ蛇口を自分で調整しなければいけない。 朝食：6:30から平日は9時まで、土日は9:30まで2階のラウンジで食べられる。主食はクロワッサン、ワッフル、ミルクパンなど数種類のパンとトースターの他、2種類のコーンフレーク系、ピラフなどの日替わり味付きご飯がある。メインに日代わりのおかずと味付きゆで*、スクランブルエッグ、ソーセージがある。日替わりのおかずはチキン＆アボカドやジンジャーチキンなどで、日によっては2種類おいている時もあった。飲み物は日替わりのスープとご当地みそ汁、スムージーの他にコーヒー、オレンジジュースなど。テイクアウトボックスもあり、部屋で食べることもできる。 滞在最後にラウンジスペースをリフォームしており、朝食以外でも仕事やゆっくり過ごせる場所になりそうな配置で机や椅子を置いていた。機会があればまたこのホテルを使わしてもらうと思う。

It's very close to the station, and the breakfast is quite rich. Although the public bathroom on the first floor is small, it is very comfortable to take a dip in winter. Affordable price and high cost performance.
