The Fort Resort

We are so lucky to stay here for the last night in Nepal. Of course it’s good property judged by every aspect but the most touching to me is The For Resort always responded our every special need and request immediately— A simple pack of food for the illness guests, a warm campfire for the welfare party etc. We can know whether a property is good enough only when guests have emergency or particular requests. Actually I don’t want to show my high recommendation of The Fort Resort because it will be more difficult to book, haha XD Thank you so much for the most sweet and wonderful service among my last 10 year traveling experience in Nepal.
Hotel Mystic Mountain

This is probably the best hotel in Nagarkot. The facilities are also relatively good. The hotel has a buffet dinner, and you can also eat potatoes from Mustang, which are really delicious. The swimming pool was not used as it was too cold and a bunch of happy Nepalis enjoyed the pool very much. I didn't see the Himalayas due to the weather, but the scenery is still good. (While visiting the hotel, I strayed into the hotel staff walkway, which is also a place where garbage is piled up. It is really smelly. It is the smelliest smell I have ever smelled in my life. It is recommended that the hotel set up road signs to prevent guests from entering by mistake)
Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont

Excellent location where from you can see full view of both sunset & sunrise. Fresh and delicious food with warm hospitality. Accommodation are spacious, airy and with enough lights. My family of 9 personnel enjoyed the stay. And most importantly, it’s very reasonably priced in comparison to some other hotels/resorts which are too expensive. I would however recommend the following improvements: 1. Facility of immediate hot water tap. 2. Beverages & tea/coffee availability in the bedroom. 3. Disability access as it has several steep steps to the hotel reception, dinning & recreational area. 4. A clear mountain guide table for visitors to refer when viewing mountain ranges. 5. A clear walking map (leaflet) for customers to grab when hiking around.
Hotel at the End of the Universe

It’s pretty basic but that’s reflected in the price, the staff are great and it’s a beautiful location. Rooms were clean but not heated but we were warm enough with the duvets and the bar and restaurant is good. The courtyard offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The only negative was that the shower was poor with terrible water pressure – but then it is up a mountain so couldn’t really complain. Despite that, I’d be more than happy to stay here again. There’s not a huge amount to do in Nargakot apart from admire the views and go for walks. With a young family, trekking wasn’t an option, but we did do the nature trail which was relatively easy going and took about an hour and a half (with a stop off for a beer and a Coke). Trail starts at the bottom of the hill, just before the school. When you get to the road at the end of the forest section, turn right and it will bring you back to the hotel.

Write your feelings sincerely for your reference. 1. Hotel facilities and hygiene, this aspect is better than hotels in the city. More traditional, but there is no requirement for star standards. The view from the balcony is very beautiful, you can watch the sunrise, the scenery is really beautiful. 2, location location location, this is the Peak Club, a resort hotel, we must pay attention to work here, we did not worry about the time. Going to Kathman every day is very far, an hour and a half, and it is a winding mountain road, and you know, because it is on the top of the mountain, it would be very expensive if you come here without a car, and you will be sent down the mountain for $ 55. 3, hotel service and breakfast, service is okay, breakfast can only be said to be average, 3 days in total, the worst on the first day, I do not know whether there are too few occupants, fewer types, the third day the next day there are more tourists Already. Can be better, not much to eat, some bread, milk, fruits, you can ask the waiter for fried eggs. The waiters were very welcoming and good. Overall, if it's a vacation, the location is beautiful, two days is enough. If it works, please note. The hotel cannot be refunded. Be cautious at the right time.
