The stay overall was reletively okay.. We had the change room because of bed bug. But the new room was clean. I had to pay to use the gym, sauna, steam room etc.. The gym has no air con, which made it super humid to workout. She said this is an everyday occurence..? But the room was big, which was nice! This hotel has potential to be good!

Location is the best! Normal 3 stars hotel. House keeping done daily. Breakfast are average. Nice view.

First time staying in this hotel despite being in Batam ＞10 times. Booked the junior suite for 3 adults for a 2 night stay. Was given 2 key cards and requested for additional key card as we have 3 pax but front desk staff insisted only 2 key cards allowed per room. Wasn’t a pleasant check in experience from there. We stayed at the old building. Room had 2 beams in the middle of nowhere, one in the toilet and one in the sleeping area. Bedsheet were not exactly clean, can still see stains. Aircon not strong even though temperature was set to the minimum. The hotel aircon compressors seemed to be right outside our room and it was so noisy. Room soundproofing was poor as we could hear the noises from the road as well. Basic amentities like toothbrush, toothpaste and toiletries were given. Location considered good as it is nearby the wet market and shopping malls. Hotel breakfast was at the new building opposite the road. Food was mediocre. No egg station or noodles station. Seat covers are also dirty with stains that don’t seem to be able to remove through washing but hotel did not replace. I will still not return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff are friendly and accommodating.The location is convenient and have many shop nearby and walkable distance to BCS mall and Mega mall.Nearby have 小小心意cake shop.

Stayed at Batam City Hotel recently and the experience was average overall. The room had several maintenance issues — the flooring had visible cracks and we had to wear slippers to avoid getting splinters on our feet. The bathroom shower head was spoiled upon check-in, though the staff did help to replace it after feedback, which I appreciated. Another issue was the aircon. It was quite noisy and the room never really felt cool enough. I requested for a room change but was informed the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available, despite checking in on a Thursday during a non-peak period. Service from staff was still polite and responsive, but the room condition and comfort level definitely need improvement.

Very good location. Price is reasonable. Room is not bad, but can be improved.

I spent 2 nights at this hotel and the location couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of everything, so major points there. But the bathroom… that’s where things fell apart. The showerhead holder was broken, which made every shower an awkward juggling act. And the “frosted” glass? It doesn’t actually blur anything out. If you’re showering, anyone on the bed has a front-row seat. Seriously, why even install a glass panel if it offers zero privacy? The towels didn’t help either — yellowed and oddly dark, they didn’t exactly scream “fresh and clean.” Aside from those misses, the room itself was decent enough, and the staff were a genuine highlight. Kind, helpful, always with a smile. Great location, lovely people… just maybe pack your own towel and shower with the lights off.

- Bad design for Soap placement area too small . - Small Basin to place any toiletries - Single bed are very small and tight. - floor mats are so old and dirty should be replaced. - Rooms look so old and the amenities in the room are In poor condition and many of them have many bad user experience when using it.

The breakfast has a lot of choices. It's close to spas, just a short walk away. Indomaret is also very close, a strategic location near Nagoya and other tourist attractions. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again when I come back.

Clean and hygienic, with great service and a nice environment. Highly recommend this place; it's my third time staying here.

Initially skeptical due to some bad reviews on cleanliness, but I’m so glad I booked! The hotel’s location is perfect close to malls, great food and even alot of massage parlor nearby. The room was comfortable, and everything worked out better than expected. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Decent hotel at a very strategic location. Many surrounding facilities like coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, convenient stores, bakeries, massage parlours, KTVs, and etc. Nearby a large food court called A2 Food Court and shopping malls like Grand Batam Mall and Batam City Square Mall. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Standard room amenities. Lobby looks newly renovated. I believe some further renovation on going for breakfast restaurant and other parts of the hotel. Staffs are helpful like security guy helping with our luggage and receptionist keep us inform as soon as room available for early check-in. Overall, value for money accomodation.
