"Overall is good. Only a bit disappointed is they forgot to decorate or provide birthday amenities for my son. When check in reception counter tell me there is birthday deco in my son room, in the end nothing. But I will be back again for my next visit. 😀"

"There was no cleaning of room after i told them to come back a short while later as we were still not ready to leave for the day yet. Otherwise, location is the most important factor to stay here as it is within walking distance to everything you can possibly want. i.e. dry goods shops, wholesale shops for gloves, hair accessories and socks, lapis, convenience shop for drinks as their tap water is not drinkable."

"This is our second time staying in Oakwood in 2025. We return for the 2nd time mainly because of its superb location (just next to Batam Grand Mall), lots of Spas nearby and because its a very nice hotel with excellent customer service. It is very popular with both local n foreign tourists. So, due to this, book early. You probably wont be able to get early check-in due to high volume of guests. We stayed in the standard room n studio premier. Studio premier is slightly bigger with a kitchen cabinet, fridge, hob n hood, sink, utensils. But the room tend to be warm in the day as the room windows are facing east. Very comfy bed n pillows. Lots of TV chanels and you can login to ur netflix acct. Inroom dining is better than their buffet bfast. Lots of varieties for their buffet bfast. Recommneded to go to Aespa if you would like to go for a massage. Oakwood guests recieve discount. Their massage is very good."

"Morning view from the hotel room. Only concern I have is that I have requested additional small bottles of water but was being rejected and need to pay. Even though the rooms comes with 2 free bottles per day per room. The aircon is quite noisy and maybe need regular maintenance. 🧑🔧 took a while for the aircon to be cold enough for the room too. Recommended to stay here as it is very convenient too."

"Rooms were spacious and clean. Induction cooker was all rusty and we didn’t want to use it. Aircon broke down on our 1st night. Maintenance took more than 30mins to respond and another hour to rectify issue. Shower area is right in front of sink, beside wc. No curtains So when you shower, the whole toilet gets wet and soapy. Only 2 lifts servicing our block so be prepared to wait. We stayed at the top floor and took is really long to go up or down. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good but staff were slow in topping up. No convenience store in the hotel so had to cross a busy street to the nearest store."

"Every staff is friendly and well service oriented. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Even the security services are very good and friendly. They will always be smiling and greeting to you. Visiting to Batam, staying in this Harris Hotel is fully recommended. During my check out, I realise I have forgotten to take one of my bag to ferry terminal. I call the hotel counter and the hotel staff Musri was the one who handle the call. He was calm, whatsapp to me and arrange his colleague to bring the bag to the ferry terminal. Manage to reach in time and I did not missed my departure. Thumbs up to their excellent and prompt service. Well done. Recommended for any families, friends!"

"Always love this Hotel. Maybe repeated 10 times already. Good service, good massage spa. Loves the cozy pool with warm jacuzzi on sundeck w frangipani tree over. almost exclusive! However buffet although many varieties breakfast this time is not as great as before😢. Previous chefs retired. Hope Chef become better"

"My parents' room was upgraded to a spacious suite, which was immaculately clean and well-equipped with all the essentials. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a wide variety of local dishes that were truly delicious. Considering the price, which included breakfast, it was an excellent value for money. The hotel's location was also ideal, being close to Thamrin, where there are plenty of food options and massage shops that cater to tourists. Take note there isn’t any swimming pool or gym which to me it was ok as I spent most of my time outside."
