I stayed at this camp expecting an adventurous experience, but it did not quite meet my expectations. The price was very high for what you get—essentially just a tent with a toilet quite far away (try walking at 3 am under umbrella to the toilet with +14C🫩). While the adventure aspect is there, it felt like overpaying, especially considering the costs for similar accommodations in this country. On the positive side, the bed was really comfortable, and the tent was cozy, which made for a good night’s sleep. The territory of the camp was nice, and breakfast was excellent, adding some value to the stay. Overall, I have mixed feelings. I liked some parts of the experience, mainly the cozy sleep and the breakfast, but I would not come back or pay this amount of money again. For the price, it is not worth it in this destination. PS shout out to the staff, they are fantastic and very nice

We absolutely loved our stay at Wildebeest Eco Camp – it was the perfect place to start and end our journey in Kenya. The camp has a wonderful atmosphere: peaceful, green, and beautifully maintained, offering a true oasis right in Nairobi. The tented rooms were fantastic – spacious, clean, and very comfortable, combining the feeling of being close to nature with just the right amount of comfort. Falling asleep to the sounds of the night and waking up with the birds made every morning feel special. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. The cleanliness throughout the camp was excellent, from the rooms to the bathrooms and the common areas. Everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully managed. The grounds themselves are beautiful – lush gardens, a relaxing pool area, and cozy spots to sit and unwind after a long day of exploring. It’s easy to feel at home here, surrounded by nature but still close to the city. We also enjoyed the food and the relaxed communal atmosphere in the restaurant. It’s a great place to meet other travelers and share experiences over dinner or breakfast. Overall, Wildebeest Eco Camp is a place with soul – beautifully designed, perfectly run, and full of warmth. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi!

A unique, beautiful, welcoming oasis in the big city. Clean and well-kept tents and lush grounds. Wonderful stay to get over jet lag before joining friends arriving a couple days after me. Prices are much more reasonable than a western-style hotel, and the stay much more relaxing and different! Highly recommend.

The cabins are magnificent, super clean, and located in a very well-kept place. Everyone here is incredibly friendly. I found everything excellent and beautiful. The food is delicious, and our friend David is an amazing host—he helped us so much and made our stay unforgettable. Breakfasts were perfect, and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are simply breathtaking. The place is very safe and spotless. I 100% recommend it! If you ever get the chance to visit, don’t miss it. And hopefully, you’ll be hosted by David—he is a truly wonderful local and an excellent young man.

Such a charming and peaceful find in the city. Feels like an oasis. The tents make it feel like you’re having an experience rather than staying at a regular hotel.

No light, no hot water, delays, noise, etc. But they were just inaugurating the lodge, probably they will solve these problems.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient surroundings were lovely, birds and interesting garden planting, a very restful place yet close to the heart of the city. Only one recommendation would be to add fresh water to a stagnant pond right beside the pool
