Hotels Near Wat Phutthaya Phiban in Nakhon Phanom

We arrived at the hotel and have been greeted nicely. The room was ready, despite our early arrival. We did get one to the suites, which was good, as a family of 4 would have a difficult time to stay comfortably in the standard room. The suite was nice, comprising of 1 living and 1 bed room separated by the bathroom. Only downside was, that the room was on the ground floor and close to the car wash of the PTT next to the hotel. Therefore it could get a bit noisy during the day. The included breakfast was nothing special, but the restaurant was not able to handle that all guests having breakfast at the same time. The view over the mekong river is nice and we could directly walk out into the garden.

Clean, airy rooms, good location next to the Mekong River. When renting, the weather was very good, suitable for those who like to run and exercise. There is a service to offer alms in the morning, which the hotel has prepared for everything. But you have to contact the counter first. Overall is good. There is a fitness room. The breakfast is good and diverse, but the dining room is a bit cramped. There are many people in the morning. Not enough food There weren't enough table seats.

Stayed in February 2022 for 2 nights, the staff gave the room to us even though they knew that the toilet lid was not tight, until checked out they still hadn’t fixed it. Breakfast has a bread zone, orange jam, strawberry jam, steamed rice, egg fried rice, 2-3 more menus to be chosen. egg zone, fried egg, omelet, etc. boiled rice, vietnamese noodles. fruits are quite fresh and clean. Pure water, orange juice seemed like they mixed with many brands. Fresh milk, cornflakes, quite a variety, food are okay. Good location, next to the Mekong River walkway, there is a 7-11 next to the hotel, opposite the hotel there is a parking lot which quite spacious and comfortable. Located in the heart of the city, not far to drive and look around. there is a walking street just 3-5 mins drive. Stunning view of Makong river if requesting a room on the river side.You will see the sunrise, cool breeze, and there are bicycles to borrow to ride. There are many restaurants nearby good for dinner, gas station. it takes about 20-25 minutes to drive from the airport. If renting a car, do not fill up the oil here. the oil will reduce 1 mark and be fined from the company you can’t say you won’t pay because you have limited time. Go to fill up near the airport.

The service at the front desk is very considerate. I saw an elderly person helping to change rooms that are convenient for the elderly and helping with luggage. This is the first time I have encountered such a good hotel. When I woke up in the morning, I saw the boss. The boss is also very enthusiastic. Some people run away when things from friends are leaked in the room come out and return

The hotel itself is not very far from the Mekong River, not a walk from the clock tower. The hotel itself is a 3-story building. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hotel has bicycles for rent. The price is 50 baht per day, which is considered very cheap. Near the hotel there are many restaurants. There are many sitting and eating in the restaurant or street foods as well.

If you are coming to Nakhon Phanom this hotel is a good choice. Staff are all nice, it's clean with good Aircon and wifi. It has a small belcony and the location is pretty good not far to the river and walking street. The price is fair for what you get. Also free coffee in mornings is nice.

We sleeped there 3 nights either on January 28 and 29, 2020 booked with Agoda and on January 30, this evening paid directly at the receipt at 500 baht because there were no more available coins on Agoda that returned even better to us The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. It is located on the 212 road, about 4.5 km from the city centre. We walked the distance a few times and rented bikes for yesterday and today. The cost of the bus station here in tuk-tuk is 100 baht. The one to go to the city centre must be similar or a little less. The rooms near the reception are likely to be noisy. It is mentioned that there is bike rental but it is false. We talk about high-speed wifi while it is frustrating, weak and intermittent. I was very happy to talk about it at the reception but nothing moved. Good business except for the wifi in our case. We would have given 4 stars if we had a good wifi in the room but we give 3 for this reason. N.B. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. My GF and I arrived late after a 4 hour drive and were looking forward to a relaxing night/morning at this hotel. Upon checking into our room, the fuse went out and after an hour of the hotel maintenance unsuccessfully trying to fix it, we were transferred from our ocean view top floor suite, to a second floor room with two single beds and no view. My GF and I were pretty disappointed with the new room, not to mention there was a loud party going on in the restaurant area, which was just one floor down. We called the front desk to ask for a refund, but were told that we would have to take up the matter with Agoda. Being that it was already late, we decided to try to make the best of it; however, I at least expected the hotel to offer a refund for the price difference of an ocean view suite to a smaller room with two beds (and no view), but the hotel said they would just call us back (of course they still haven't a day later). I'm not faulting the hotel staff, but there is definitely a lack of common sense and expected courtesy by the hotel management/ownership. Yea, the views are nice, but the hotel is actually a bit run down, and what got me is that you even have to pay to rent bikes and use their gym. The cost is small, but it's the principal...these types of amenities are always complimentary at any respectable hotel.

The resort is quiet, private. I like that there is a hotel room and separate into the back. We asked to stay in a back. Because you can park the car next door, not busy, everything else is good, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom, but acceptable, reasonable price, a little bit in the city, but on the main road, easy to find.
