While we liked the general vibe of the hotel - with it's rustic cottages, swimming pool and walkable areas inside, the residential areas require maintenance. The food was tasty, but compared to other hotels we stayed at during our safari, had a lack of options. It rained when we were staying at the hotel and we had water dripping into the cottage. The bedroom, although well maintained was really loud due to the rain and we hardly managed to get any sleep. The bathroom was really rusty and dingy. Although the nice staff cleaned the bathroom once again upon our request, the condition of the bathroom was bad. I would only recommend this hotel to people who are looking for a brief stopover, but not for longer stays.

Хороший отель недалеко от озера Найваша. На входной группе встречает милый персонал, велком дринк, быстрое заселение. Наш номер -домик был с общей входной группой кухня, диваны, телевизор и далее по типу танхауса разделен на 2 спальни, в каждой спальне свой туалет. Номера выполнены очень красиво все из массива дерева, хороший напор в душе, теплая вода. Над кроватью маскитная сетка. Еда была вкусная, шведский стол, мясо, рыба, овощи, фрукты, десерты. На территории так же есть небольшой бассейн. Впечатления об отделе остались положительные. Хотелось бы только чтобы добавили, достроили территорию для сопровождающих гидов рейнджеров, чтобы были с туристами в одном отеле.

Parc un peu trop à l'Européenne. Beau gîte, meuble de qualité, hélas, pas un seul support pour les valises. Il a fallu les poser par terre. La salle de bain est vieillotte. Les repas sont de qualité. Le personnel n'était pas très chaleureux. Trop gros hôtel pour y trouver du relationnel.

Situation sur une colline, en pleine nature, avec vue sur le lac Oloiden, où l'on peut descendre à pied pour une balade. Possibilité de monter jusqu'au point de vue en haut de la colline, sur demande. Bungalows répartis dans un très grand parc sillonné de sentiers, où l'on peut se perdre au début... On peut d=se trouver assez éloigné du restaurant et des parties communes. Éclairage extérieur un peu faible la nuit. Les bungalows sont très grands, avec une grande et belle terrasse couverte. Le nôtre était double, un très grand salon (avec TV et cuisine) séparant deux chambres. Chambres un peu trop petites, où il est difficile de poser ses valises et ses affaires. Confort tout juste suffisant. Mais un calme extraordinaire et le chant des oiseaux ! Salle de bains correcte, eau bien chaude, mais pas assez se serviettes (une grande par personne, et rien d'autre, pas d'essuie-mains). Wifi très performant en chambre, mais il a fallu appeler un technicien à la rescousse pour en disposer sur plusieurs appareils (téléphones mobiles et ordinateur). Restauration buffet un peu juste en choix, mais c'est très bon. La salle fait un peu cantine. Tables en nombre un peu juste. Le personnel est très sympathique et souriant. Me and my family of 4 were at Naivasha Kongoni lodge for 3 days /2 nights and the experience was absolutely sublime. We loved the place, we loved the staff, the restaurant, the pool and the landscape. We were accommodated in a picturesque cottage with wonderful decoration and special Woden furniture. It was special being at the balcony listening to the silence, sometimes with the birds singing and the thunderstorm and rain in other occasions.

Kongoni was a perfect getaway, about two hours from Nairobi. The grounds are beautiful; we especially enjoyed hiking the path to a viewpoint of the lakes. Food was delicious and our room was clean and so nice! Be aware, that you may share common space with another couple in your cottage. This would have been fine with us, but we happened to have it all to ourselves. Kongoni is located about 15 minutes from the entrance to Hell's Gate, so you will need your own transportation or a taxi to get most places. But we so enjoyed Kongoni, that we were happy to not go far at all!

Good location convenient to Naivasha, Hells Gate for hiking/biking, Crescent Island. Very peaceful, clean spacious rooms, ample hot water. Unfortunately as we checked out, we were overcharged for drinks/waters by about 50%. It was the old ruse of "the charges are 'in the system' but we can't find receipts". This was a surprise because we had signed for any extras like beverages, and it wasn't hard to remember how many there were since it was only 2 nights. There was no real effort to resolve, leading to an impression that this type of predatory charging may be the norm. This is extremely bad behavior for a place as nice as this, and for this reason I do not recommend the lodge whatsoever.
