Hotel was in a good location, close to Bayi Square. Also close to the metro station and convenience store. Customer service was very good here and Sunny at the reception desk was very helpful with providing us very good information on where to get a COVID-19 test before we left. Gave us directions and the opening times. She also spoke very good English too and should be commented.

Positive points: The hotel is overall good. Good value for its price. The room was warm (travelled in winter) - even had to leave the window open. The WiFi connection was fast. You can use their washing machines for your laundry (2 RMB). Close to the Nanchang West Railway Station. Negative points: Very far from where all the fun is. The neighbourhood is quite new, apparently. Dead. Better to pay more and find a hotel in the city centre, as, anyway, you will spend the same money on taxis or waste more than an hour daily on public transportation (also need to walk about 1km from the subway station). The room was not very clean. The carpet under the bed looked horrible. Even saw someone's nail on it. A used toothpick on the floor in the toilet. There even was someone's snot on the wall in the shower. Lost 12 yuan when doing my laundry, as there's an ad popping up when you scan the QR code on the washing machine prompting you to pay 12 RMB. I can't read Chinese and didn't bother to check the translation as I didn't expect any other payment. The Front Desk hadn't warned me about it. I complained to Front Desk agent, who promised someone would get back to me on the matter the next day. Of course, nobody did. The service is sometimes slow. When you flush the toilet, the water splashes everywhere. Not very hygienic. The water in the shower at certain hours turns hot or cold every five to ten seconds - couldn't take a shower comfortably.
