JI Hotel (Nanjing International Exhibition Center)

It was quite late when we arrived. The underground parking garage was dimly lit, and there were no available spots, so we had to park a bit further away. I called the hotel and a male staff member answered. I asked if there was any above-ground parking as we had a child and luggage, making it inconvenient. He replied that he wasn't sure and told us to go check ourselves. The cleanliness was also subpar. I'm not sure why, but the room felt very dusty, with noticeable lint and dust bunnies on the floor. I've stayed at many other Ji Hotel branches, but this was the worst experience by far.

The daytime staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming compared to the night shift staff. Even those not checking in could relax in the lobby, and everyone was given a bottle of water – it was so thoughtful! The duty manager was also exceptionally attentive, making me feel right at home at the Ji Hotel. They even gave me a gift bag when I checked out! 😺😺 After being homeless for twenty years, this was the first time I'd stayed in such a wonderful hotel; I was so moved I almost cried!

The room was spacious with a great view, and the elevated highway was beautiful 🤩 The breakfast was good, and the service was excellent 🎉

The hotel rooms faced an elevated highway on one side, a high-speed rail track on the other, and an interior window on the third. The first room I was given had an interior window, offering a direct view of people in the shopping mall and office buildings across the street – virtually no privacy, and I had to keep the curtains closed the entire time… The second time, I was moved to a room facing the elevated highway, but that row only had twin rooms, and since I was alone, I had to pay extra to get one. Although it was noisy, the windows were reasonably soundproof, and with the curtains closed, it didn't disturb my sleep. That wasn't all; when I checked out the next morning, I discovered stains on the pillows (I hadn't used the pillows on the bed I hadn't slept in), and there were still hardened stains on the toilet seat. The hygiene was appalling…

Excellent location, wide variety of breakfast options

The room was directly opposite the railway tracks 🛤️, and it was so noisy at night that I couldn't sleep. The next day, after we finished our activities, my room card wouldn't work before I checked out, even though it wasn't past midnight. I went to the front desk to refresh it, but it still wouldn't open the door. The room was incredibly far from the elevator, and going back and forth took a full half hour. My whole plan was ruined! I'm so angry! 😡 This has happened twice at the All Seasons Hotel. I don't know if it's the machine that's faulty or what.
