Nanjing Jinling Hotel- City Center

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service! We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.

Upon check-in, I was upgraded to the Asia-Pacific Business floor. The view from the 55th floor was expansive and the room facilities were relatively new. The bed offered a comfortable level of firmness. Housekeeping service was prompt. The executive lounge and breakfast quality were decent, offering some Nanjing local specialties, though the Western options were quite standard. The front desk staff, Xiaoyu, had a good attitude, and the service at Golden Bay was attentive and warm.

Jinling Hotel | Nanjing Xinjiekou's Ultimate Window View at Night! Honestly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Nanjing's Xinjiekou area. Service: The service couldn't have been better. They proactively communicated about our room preferences before check-in, and upon arrival, the front desk staff even helped carry our luggage to the room. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and they fulfilled every request. This was the best experience I've had so far. The Jinling Hotel also exudes an upwardly mobile, classic aesthetic – quiet luxury. Standing in the lobby, you can almost feel the glory it held more than 40 years ago when it first opened. Room: The entire room was designed with warm tones. Unlike the flashy style of some hotels, every item, piece of furniture, and light source in the room was meticulously chosen. It's just like Nanjing itself – ancient, understated, old money.

On a business trip to Nanjing, I booked the Jinling Hotel right opposite the JLC where our event was held. It looked like an old-school five-star hotel, so I expected the facilities to be dated, but to my surprise, everything was incredibly new – it must have undergone a complete renovation and upgrade. The room was spacious enough, the bed was quite large, and there were no strange odors. Outside the window, I had a view of the Sun Yat-sen statue in Xinjiekou. The location is also fantastic, with a Line 2 subway station right at the entrance and plenty of food options nearby.

Breakfast on the 56th floor offered breathtaking views. The room was spotless and well-maintained. The pool water was a bit chilly on the first day, but otherwise, everything was great. The location is superb, making it easy to get around, and Xinjiekou Commercial Center is right downstairs.

The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel staff were also thorough in checking the rooms. The location is super convenient, really close to the subway, and there's a mall right across the street. Getting around is a breeze. Plus, they have a robot that can deliver food right to your room, and all the staff members are incredibly friendly and provide great service.

The service was excellent, special thanks to Steven Xu. Meiyuan restaurant was also very good, with professional service. Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of Huaiyang cuisine – I find it a bit too mild for my taste. However, the food at Meiyuan was surprisingly delicious; I didn't encounter a single dish I disliked, which was unexpected. Definitely worth noting down.

Fantastic location, right across from Deji Plaza and within walking distance to Xinjiekou. The service was decent. Breakfast was very generous, with options like big buns and salted duck. My only minor complaints are that the entrance is shared with an office building, which can be a bit confusing, and the front desk is a bit small.

This hotel truly goes above and beyond with its thoughtful, detail-oriented service, far exceeding my expectations for a traditional state-owned hotel. It offers a more personal touch than even some high-end international hotels. The staff make more eye contact, engage in more communication and sharing, making you feel like you've returned to a familiar home. It's wonderful! This will be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Nanjing.
