Jinjiang Nanjing Hotel

The service was very enthusiastic, and there were robots delivering meals and water. The hotel environment was great, and the hygiene was also good. The only minor drawback was a strange smell when we first entered, I can't quite pinpoint it – perhaps like disinfectant or something else. Opening the window didn't help much, but fortunately, it didn't affect our stay, so we didn't bother reporting it. Nanjing is definitely worth a visit.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! I've stayed at many hotels in Nanjing, but this one has always been a landmark for me – I used to walk past it as a child and peer through the walls, it felt like an iconic symbol of Nanjing. Stepping inside, it has a charming, old-school VIP feel, with clearly updated facilities. The blend of Republic of China era ambiance, the pine tree gifted by H.H. Kung to Chiang Kai-shek, creative cultural bookmarks, modern amenities, convenient subway access, and warm service is simply perfect. My whole family loved it! The breakfast was outstanding, not just Nanjing's signature duck blood vermicelli soup, but also desserts like red bean dumplings one day and osmanthus taro balls the next – childhood favorites of mine. Many foreign guests were there and gave it rave reviews! 👍

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. The hotel is housed in a well-maintained 1936 heritage building, and it was a unique experience to stay in such a historical property. The breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely five-star quality; the ingredients were fresh, the taste was excellent, and there was a wide variety of options, including very fresh bread. My family even commented that the brined duck at breakfast was better than what we bought from specialty souvenir shops! Our travel schedule was packed, so unfortunately, I didn't get to try out the gym facilities. The location is incredibly convenient; a side gate from the hotel courtyard leads directly to a subway station. It's a straight shot to the Confucius Temple, and Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Lake are just a short subway ride away with one transfer. We also reached Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum easily with a subway and bus transfer. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, from the young man at the front desk to the young man and woman with glasses in the lobby. Both the staff and the facilities exude the classic charm and professionalism of an established hotel. The price was also very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely recommend this to friends visiting Nanjing. My family, especially, has a great appreciation for the historical significance of the Republic of China era, and staying in a building from that period was truly exceptional for them.

Visiting again in the late spring, my stay for several days was incredibly pleasant and relaxing. A special thank you to Ms. Miao and Mr. Li at the front desk for their warm and attentive service, and to Ms. Yang in the breakfast restaurant for her thoughtful and meticulous care. Their warm smiles and excellent service truly add a beautiful and comforting touch to this venerable hotel, which has stood for ninety years!

This is my top choice for business trips every time. The front desk staff are very friendly. It's convenient to get anywhere from here, and they even offer thoughtful fruit. It's clean and hygienic, and for breakfast, they have duck blood and vermicelli soup, which is fantastic!

This was my second stay here, and the hotel really has a unique Republican-era charm. The room was very quiet, and I slept wonderfully. It's a rare garden hotel in the city center, and now with the subway access, it's even more convenient. The breakfast was decent too. For this price, I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very spacious. Although the last renovation was quite some time ago, it's still well-maintained and very clean. Some of the facilities are a bit old but complete, and the thoughtful little details are great. The service attitude was also very good. One suggestion: it might be time to replace the electric kettle, as there's a thick layer of white limescale around the spout.
