Westin Properties in Nanjing

The room was quite spacious with a great view of Xuanwu Lake and the city. The service was excellent; staff were very responsive to our needs. The ladies at check-in and check-out were also very enthusiastic. The only minor drawback is that perhaps because it's an older, well-established hotel, some facilities are a bit dated, and the carpet is showing its age. However, this didn't really affect our stay. I just hope the drinks in the mini-fridge could be complimentary for guests, especially since it's a Marriott property – a little more generosity would be nice!

I have to give a special shout-out to the Westin hotel's service! It was absolutely fantastic! First, we arrived on Thursday afternoon, and the hotel had already called me at noon to arrange everything, including the vehicle entry QR code. Second, when we checked in, since it was a family trip, I casually asked if they could upgrade our room, and the front desk readily agreed! Third, my child accidentally broke a glass beverage cup in the room. The manager's first concern was whether my child was hurt! They immediately arranged for housekeeping to come and clean our room. The housekeeper was incredibly efficient, meticulously cleaning up all the glass shards. They truly went above and beyond with their service! The stay was wonderful. The hotel has hot springs that you can access anytime. The bed was also incredibly comfortable! I even want to ask where they source their mattresses – so light and cozy! The hotel breakfast was also very generous, featuring Nanjing specialties like duck blood and vermicelli soup, pickled vegetable and shredded pork noodles, and chicken soup wontons! There was a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. A truly excellent experience! I'll definitely come back next time and plan to bring my parents to experience it too!
