Xizi International Youth Hostel (Chaoyang Plaza Xiguan Night Market)

The location is great, it is simple but the beds have curtains. Very close to the train station and centre. Easy check in!

Horrible, absolutely filthy! There are BEDBUGS!!unfortunately, I didn’t notice them the first night, but I ended up covered in bites that itched for an entire week. At night, plenty of large COCKROACHES came out. I only stayed because there were no other hostels in the area available for foreigners on my dates. This is the worst hostel I’ve been to in Asia. The bathroom is disgusting: the mirror and floor were filthy, and there was hair in the shower. I stayed several nights and didn't see the owner clean even once. The mattresses are also covered in mold stains. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

I have mixed feelings about this place, it's cheap and a great location. However, it smelled damp and of smoke, despite the no smoking policy. If those things don't bother you, it's great, I myself I found it challenging. It was also a bit messy that there wasn't any storage, there was lockers, but they weren't usable or were locked. What they did well was communication, including sending me self checkin instructions and directions.

location is excellent . nearby bus stop n metro . many restaurant n convenient store . aircond n hot water very good . bed is big n comfortable. the lady boss very nice n polite.

Close to the train station. Cheap accomodation in the city center. No one at the reception and the door is closed.

The emplacement is really good and the price is cheap. But it is dirty, the matress is not even a matress (it is really really thin), and the guests were always smoking in the room ***

The bedroom had clearly not been cleaned properly in a long time, hair and dust everywhere, the sheets smelled bad. I had booked 2 nights but had to escape after the first night. Toilet was disgusting, no hand soap or even toilet paper was available. The whole room smelled musky. It was very difficult to find. Almost impossible for a foreigner. It's cheap, but not worth the trauma.
