Nous étions quatre couples réunis pour un mariage en Dordogne La grange de Lucie nous a accueillis pour 5 nuits Nous avons passé un excellent séjour Niels et valerie sont très accueillants et chaleureux Ils nous ont aidés pour le choix des visites et les restaurants et à chaque fois que des bonnes adresses Les chambres sont spacieuses et joliment décorées elles possèdent toutes une salle de bain très grande avec une douche à l’italienne La cuisine de valerie est remarquable elle fait des confitures délicieuses une brioche moelleuse et un cheesecake à tomber Nous recommandons fortement Un grand merci à valerie et Niels Affectueusement MH et Thierry Guinet

La Grange de Lucie is set deep in the country in the northern part of the Dordogne. The ensuite bedroom accommodation was very comfortable - probably the best beds we have slept in in France. Valerie and Nils were very welcoming and cooked us a wonderful meal. We would highly recommend staying here.

I would definitely recommend this B&B. It was fabulous!! I felt so welcomed and very safe. As I was travelling alone this was very important to me. Valerie and Niels made sure I had everything I needed in their very beautiful French B&B, it really was just perfect!

Na een snelwegrit van 780 km rijden we - moederziel alleen - nog 20 km in een heuvelachtig landschap op smalle wegen naar La Grange de Lucie. We zijn (natuurlijk) heel erg welkom. Na een korte rondleiding en uitleg over het huisreglement, belanden we in onze kamer. Ruim met recemt vernieuwd toilet en badkamer (met uitstekende douche) en een bed met steengoede matras. De eerste avond Table d'Hôtes. Apéro met huisgemaakte hapjes, lekker gerecht en dessert met koffie achteraf. Een gezellige babbel met Valërie en Niels en hum 2 tienermeisjes maakt de eerste avond tot een succes. Méér moet dat niet zijn! De rust, de stilte, de lekkere gezonde keuken, de paradijselijke omgeving, onze lectuur aan het nieuw-aangelegde zwembad, de prachtige wandelingen te voet en met de auto, de babbels met het koppel en de andere gasten, hebben voor een onvergetelijk 4-daags rustpunt gezorgd ! Heerlijk. Hoeft het te verbazen dat dit kort verblijf niet het laatste was ? Anne & Jan

Fantastisch!!!! Zeker een aanrader in de Dordogne/Charente streek! Ligt ook in het middelpunt van alle bezienswaardigheden. Onze hond was tevens in haar nopjes tijdens ons verblijf. De eigenaars (vlaams) zeer behulpzaam en zeer aangenaam gezelschap.

We arrived at short notice in the midst of an emergency and couldn't have been welcomed more kindly or looked after any better, The accommodation was comfortable - we slept really well - and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Valerie and Niels for sharing your home

Tout était parfait pour un WE en amoureux: des chambres confortables, une vue reposante, des hôtes attentionnés et acceuillants, des sentiers à l'infini pour se perdre en randonnée, des villages pour flâner et une belle piscine pour se prélasser. Je recommande vivement cette escapade !

So very upset to leave today. Valerie and her lovely family welcomed us 5 days ago and made our stay with them the best we have experienced anywhere, we have never felt so relaxed so fast. Stunning room, fantastic breakfast and dinner. A host that really knows how to please guests and that’s not an easy job. But we really honestly cannot wait to return.
