The hotel's location is fantastic, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The rooms were spotless, and a major plus was the delicious and very filling breakfast. I'd definitely consider staying here again; it's well worth it.

I stayed at Guipu Hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday. Seeing that it was listed in Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), I had high expectations for the overall quality and accommodation experience. First, the advantages: The hotel's design is indeed thoughtful, with a distinctive overall style, excellent spatial quality, and a selection of high-quality items that reflects investment, such as the use of SMEG brand equipment, resulting in a visually appealing and photogenic environment. However, the actual stay revealed some discrepancies. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable odor from the plumbing. Even after turning on the air conditioning or using fragrance, the smell lingered slightly. Because the bathroom wasn't completely enclosed, and the room was small, the odor tended to linger. Additionally, the showerhead water pressure was weak, and the showerhead holder was somewhat loose, making it slightly inconvenient to use. The outdoor pool area felt visually small, which might differ from typical expectations of a "pool." This is something future guests should be aware of. A small note regarding booking: I initially thought I booked a king room, but the final confirmation was for a twin room. This is due to my own failure to double-check, so it's not a hotel issue. However, I suggest everyone double-check the confirmation after booking. Higher room rates during the ***** New Year period are understandable, but at nearly 9000 yuan, the overall experience would be more complete if the hardware and details could be improved. It's worth mentioning that the on-site staff were friendly and patient, providing a comfortable experience. Overall, the hotel has highlights in design and service, but there's still room for improvement in hardware and details. Travelers who value aesthetics might like it; those with high demands for comfort and amenities should carefully evaluate before booking.

It's an exquisite and luxurious hotel, a great choice for Hilton members. The restaurant and bar are both excellent, and while it's nice for small families, it's more suitable for couples seeking a romantic getaway. It's a fantastic choice if you're visiting Sun Moon Lake.

The breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and the butler-style service was very friendly. The room, although quite small, was quite stylish. The location is convenient, being close to Shuishe Wharf.

A boutique hotel with small rooms, but the upstairs lounge offers complimentary ice cream and beer, and the front desk staff are very friendly.

This is my second time staying at Guipu! Great location with parking! The only downside is the soundproofing isn't great 😀 everything else is fine.
