"Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room is a tatami room with comfortable futon beds. The highlight is the lovely view of the lake on two sides of the room. The layout is similar to what one finds in a typical Japanese onsen hotel with wc that is separate from the bathroom. Pajamas are provided. So nice to be able to soak in our private onsen bath after a day of activities in SML. The breakfast is amazing in terms of quantity and quality; it is however geared towards Asian food. Bagels are delicious. The hotel is opposite one of the entrances to the walkway around the lake so it’s convenient for strolls around the lake. Wish we could stay for a few more days."

"Very nice resort sitting on top of a hill. The room was wonderful with a balcony and private in-room hot spring overseeing the magical sun moon lake. We opted for the half board option and very pleasantly enjoyed the Chinese dinner and the western morning semi-buffet. No complaints on the food, all fresh and beautifully cooked and curated! We only stayed for one night and enjoyed the serene walk in the morning to the pier. The service of the shuttle bus to the HSR station also a big plus. Would visit again!"

"Midi Hotel should be the best hotel in Xitou area. It is about 300M away from the forest park. There are not many choices for dinner and we have to go to ** Village for noodles. However, the overall comfort of the room and the hotel facilities are worth recommending. The security guards in the parking lot enthusiastically helped with the instructions that evening, and they are worthy of praise!"

"The hotel offers good value for money. Many of the guests stay here with big bus groups. There is an interesting view from the top floor. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms functional. It is important to note that it is quite dated and has some classical decor. It is very well located near many businesses and restaurants. Also nearby is a very practical launderette where you can wash and dry in one cycle. 7 eleven is also nearby. In the hotel you can enjoy breakfast which has plenty of choices for anyone. Protip: hotel has parking with sirect access to rooms. There are 4 elevators which get busy, look for a small hallway between elevators to find another much less used elevator for speed."

"The overall environment is good, but unfortunately the facilities and cabins look old, and the cabins don't seem to be well waterproofed. Although there is a hot spring... the cabin may have collapsed due to long-term moisture. The toilet door of the room I stayed in can no longer be closed. The room was also filled with a wet smell that lingered for a long time..., but it can be seen that the hotel has tried its best to keep the environment and facilities clean in all aspects, including swimming pools/open-air hot springs/sky walks/sky bridges/bald pine trails/various entertainment Facilities/Camping Area. It is worth mentioning that the side meals are really generous. The room comes with two bowls for each guest. In the morning, the breakfast for two people in the room (carrot cake + egg x2 / sandwich x4 / two cups of soy milk) is really filling. Afternoon 😂, I can only say that if the wooden house problem is solved, it will be a really good hotel! (By the way, this hotel does not accept accommodation visitors. If there is a temporary need for visitors, you need to pay attention to the hotel regulations to avoid being charged admission fees)"
