Cheela Plains Station Stay

A fantastic place to stop off between Karijini and the coast. Very friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and great coffee. Good knowledge of Gluten Free food as well. Driving circuit definitely worth a look.

Wow amazing station stay fabulous staff , great amenities , camp kitchen , cafe/restaurant, we had a meal and it was amazing especially the blueberry pie , great company at our table including a young couple from France. the sun sets were unreal , loved this place.

I travelled with a group of artists to spend a week in the Pilbara and our few days at Cheela Plains were the highlight of our trip. The accommodation was perfect - airconditioned with a cosy bed and fridge - and right next to the shower block. We were blown away by the quality of the meals - which were absolutely restaurant quality. What's most special though is the station's spot - it's hard not to be impressed with the landscape and the age of the place. The gorge is spectacular and the Lazy C mountain at sunrise is something I'll never forget.

What an absolute privilege to be permitted to share and enjoy this stunning ( massive!) piece of Australia. Staff are all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, accomodation was great and the 4WD tour around this extensive property was just fantastic!

Best remote Accomodation. Absoulte steal for the price especially considering its location.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Ensuite rooms are new clean and the beds are so comfy! Our group of 11 had a divine 2 course meal. 11/10 goes to Kelly who assisted me to access after hours RFDS doctor. Her assistance made a tricky situation seamless.

We had one of the motel rooms which was comfy. No TV or radio or wifi. Staff are wonderful but unfortunately we arrived in Wednesday night ....burger night. Unfortunately that was it one burger no dessert. Reading the menu for the other nights we considered it was a pretty expensive stay. One guy wanted another burger but that was it none left. Station is lovely just bummed about our feed

One of the highlights of our swing through the Pilbara. Wonderful camp hosts. Excellent facilities and a lovely evening meal at the restaurant but be warned capacity is limited so consider booking ahead. Lucky enough to be there on Anzac Day so enjoyed the simple dawn service on the small hillock overlooking the caravan park. Great sense of camaraderie around the communal fire each evening. A memorable experience.

What a beautiful, serene place to stay. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals at the cafe are super delicious and made for a fantastic end to a superb day. Highly recomnend you enjoy a meal there. Mussel Pool is a beautifully quiet spot for a relaxing swim and/picnic. The sunsets and sunrise are stunning. Would love to stay again.
