Napa Valley accommodations are expensive, especially on the weekends, but we have chosen Silverado Resort for our last few stays. One of the biggest factor, is we traveled with our college aged kids, and we needed a two bedroom accommodation. We had a two bedroom, two bath suite, with kitchen, living room and golf course view. We ate lunch and snacks in the condo, and played games in the living room. My husband golfed, and we all played tennis and bocci ball. There are dedicated pickle ball courts that looked pristine, but we couldn't coax our kids to play. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and had everything we needed. We had good housekeeping service. One negative is their check in process. I have never been given access to my room before 4 pm. I am convinced they don't allow it. And this time, they gave us our keys and said they would text us when the room cleaning was complete. Having not received a call at 4 pm, we called the front desk to check the status of our room, and they gave us the room number and said it was ready. We were parked right near our room, and there wasn't a cleaning cart on the block. I think the room had been ready for quite some time, if not when we checked in. Anyways, just know you probably won't get your room 'til 4 pm, it's a little expensive, but that's typical for the area, and you do get a lot of amenities for the price.
