R Inn Napa

Everything there was GREAT! 10/10

We stayed for 3 days at the R Inn in the center of Napa, and despite the quite high room price we did not regret it. The room was nicely decorated, with a very very comfortable bed and perfect bathroom. For a longer stay there would have been too little storage space (style over function!) but for a few days it was fine. We had one of the rooms without windows but only a rooflight, but this was no issue and did not negatively impact the beautiful appearance of the room. Unfortunately, however, this could not be shaded. Coming into the room - which was beautifully furnished in modern Asian-US style - we were welcome by a bottle of Rose wine, and in the beautifully arranged common areas snacks, coffee machines etc were available and free to use. On weekends, the hotel also serves complimentary breakfast, which we could enjoy for one day. The lobby is not always manned. If not, check-in can be done online and the room is accessible via key code - this was a bit difficult for us as international travelers, as the code was only send 2-3 hours before arrival when we were already on the road without internet access, and the parallel send SMS was too long to be displayed on my phone. But all was resolved quickly when we called once arriving in Napa and finding the hotel empty... For our taste, there were a bit too many electronic gimmicks in the room with some being not fully thought-through, e.g. the bathroom light lit via presence detector but was separated from the bedroom by satinised glass only, which made the bedroom light up at night also for the second person. But other than this a truly premium-class accommodation, which paired well with the premium wines we tasted during our short stay!

Loved this property! Well organized check in/out! So easy to park. Walking distance to main restaurants etc. The room was so functional and loved the electric bed (moving head and foot area up and down). The pantry was well stocked and easy to use. My husband and I will definitely be back!

What a lovely find! Everything in this hotel speaks to thoughtfulness, from the bottle of wine in the room to the heated bathroom floors (and toilet seat!) to the heavenly soft bed and pillows! This hotel is great for groups as there are multiple hangout areas and the check-in is easy regardless of how delayed your flight is! The location is perfect, just one block from town. Two small suggestions:all the mirrors need lights so we can apply our makeup without shadows and the hooks in the handicap bathrooms needs lowered (currently around 7 foot). It was just lovely and sweet and perfect! Would absolutely stay again!

This property is great, close to restaurants and shops, good parking and walking distance to Oxbow.

What a fabulous , restful getaway my bf and I had . We stayed in loft 14, which is the two floor loft . Everything was exceptional . The bed is sooo comfortable ! The sheets are the softest sheets I have never had while In A hotel , the bed is electric and you can change the setting with the remote to adjust it . The sheets were soooo nice we even ordered some for our home . The kitchen area is well equipped with milk , juice, cereals and a really nice high end coffee machine . You can go in there and help yourself at any time . The only thing I found somewhat annoying was that the room didn’t have a phone and when we texted the help line for waters no one answered , we had to go to the gas station to get water bottles in the middle of enjoying lunch . Aside from that I highly recommend this place . I would stay here again .

Very attractive property. Rooms a bit dark but modern and clean. No real front staff but the background staff stocked the breakfast nicely and kept everything immaculately clean.
