The location is very good, very clean and comfortable

There were no rooms ready when I arrived. They told me they will call me on my phone when the room is ready. I told them I had a 2 yo baby that need to take a nap. After 1 and a half hour I went to check again and they gave me a room and when I open the fort, was occupied. Then, they gave me another room and the toilets did not flush. They could not fix it and no other solution offered.

Pros Lovely pools and gardens Nice remodelled rooms Excellent air con Close proximity to Lowdermilk Beach Good Internet accessibility Cons Atrocious housekeeping, clearly lacking in management and pride in their work. If they have a daily checklist they are not using it. We had to complain about the total lack of and housekeeping 5 times in an 11 night stay and even when they did ‘service’ the room, they left piles of dirty towels and bedding, shower was never cleaned neither was the floor. One day they left 3 bath mats and no hand towels, another day we didn’t get a bath mat, and so it went on. They also failed to replenish cups, coffee, shower gel etc Reception staff. No welcome at check in, just handed the keys with no explanation of housekeeping arrangements, for instance beds only changed once every 3 days but housekeeping every day. On check out we were handed the bill then totally ignored. Very unprofessional. James who checked us in and out definitely needs customer service training. He was not overtly rude, but very brusque and dismissive. Room storage. Very little storage in the remodelled rooms if you are staying for more than a couple of nights. In room safes have been removed from the remodelled rooms No microwave We are now seriously considering other accommodation in the Naples area for our next visit, it is such a shame!!

Cleaning n room service for towels n trash were horrible.

We had car trouble and this was the closest place to stay. They were quite full but had an "apar**ent" available so we took it. Full kitchen with newer appliances and good selection of cooking and dining stuff. Nice bath with two vessel sinks. But there were stains in the carpet, the furnishings were dark and didn't make you think of Florida, there was no assigned parking. I couldn't find where breakfast was supposed to be served. BUT there was an excellent Italian restaurant attached (Bellini's I think). There was on building of rooms with a real tropical courtyard that had a pool. A second building had suites, and a bigger pool in an open courtyard. Two buildings had apar**ents like we were staying in, and they didn't have anything special. So you had to walk across the parking lot to get to a pool.

The staff do everything they can to accommodate

The suite was excellent, roomy and comfortable. You folks underpromised and overdeliveted. But i have to say a word about your staff. Everyone, from the front desk to the grounds crew to the breakfast attendants, seemed depressed, not happy in their work. No one was outright rude to us, but no one smiled, greeted us pleasantly, or even looked at us when they spoke. This was pervasive. An animal rots from the head down, so i attribute this to management. If you could improve overall morale, you'd have an oasis on your hands.

Nice, older but well-maintained hotel. I really like be able to drive up and park in front of my room which I was able to do here. I much prefer that to using a parking garage and then having to haul all my stuff through a hotel lobby. Housekeepers and breakfast staff were extremely nice. Room and bathroom were quite nice, obviously remodeled at some point. Only downside was that there was no desktop surface to do work on my laptop. I would definitely stay again!
