Overall the resort is maintained immaculately and the staff is exceptionally nice and very well trained, providing excellent service. Unfortunately, the layout, look and feel of the resort fell short of our expectations based on other reviews, pics and the AAA 4 Diamond rating. It appears the developer tried to incorporate the factors to get that rating, but in my opinion, it is not deserving of it. To be fair, it was a nice place to stay, but just did not did not meet our expectations of staying at a resort. We chose a King Superior Guest room, which was very clean and well appointed, but other than the bathroom, which was very nice and spacious, it was very small, with barely enough room for the king size bed and dresser / counter. The interior areas of the Naples Bay Club were very nice and upscale, but the outside pool area felt cramped. It had the amenities, but it felt like they crammed them in to say they had them. The main pool was nice, but it felt like the lap pool, adult pool / hot tup and lazy river (which was tiny) were all crammed in. Indulge Restaurant and Bar was closed the four nights we were there. We also missed having a conveniently located bar for evening drinks. There was one at the Club, but it was only open until 8 and not convenient to the resort itself. We rented a car, which I'd highly recommend and the valet guys, particularly Thomas, made parking and retrieving our car very quick and easy. Since we had a car, we did not use the shuttle service, but did take advantage of the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels the resort makes available. That made it very easy for us to go to different beaches on our own. It was a very nice touch and that flexibility made our overall trip much more enjoyable. Overall, although we were disappointed with the "resort" feel, we did make the most of our trip, but it was mostly outside of the resort. It was a nice place to stay in the Naples area, but having a car and the flexibility to not be dependent on the resort is highly recommended.
