The Collins Hotel was sold to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in May of 2023. Gone! A Chicago medical group that's part of Northwestern University’s medical school has bought a 3.5-acre parcel in Naples that once housed the Collins Hotel. The group, Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, paid $24.5 million for the property. Christopher King, chief media relations executive for Northwestern Medicine, says in an email that “we are exploring a future outpatient facility with a variety of clinical offerings" on the site. “We are doing so because it aligns with our long-term growth strategy, our patient first mission and our desire to bring world-class care closer to where our patients live,” he writes in the email to the Business Observer.

Indeed a Motel, instead of a hotel. Room was clean, small bathroom with barely enough room for one adult. Dated structure, not bad for a 1-2 night stay if priced better. Found total price of 144 for one night a bit steep as other hotels in area, with better facilities charge a comparable price and or less.

Calidez en la recepción, servicios, ubicación, limpieza, comodidad. Todo excelente. Se entiende que algunos servicios como la cafetería estaba cerrada y no se servía el desayuno por la pandemia. Pero el desayuno para la habitación era adecuado.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans l'hotel. Lorsque nous avions réservé, l'ouragan n'était pas encore passé... Nous avons maintenu notre réservation après échange de mail avec l'hotel et nous ne l'avons pas regretté. Le personnel a vraiment été au top. A l'arrivée, vu que l'hotel était occupé par les ouvriers qui s'atelaient au nettoyage de la ville, la dame de l'accueil ayant repéré nos têtes de touristes nous a changés de chambres pour être plus proche de la piscine. Durant notre séjour, le jeune homme de l'accueil nous a aidé à plusieurs reprises et nous a conseillé des endroits de promenade vu que les plages n'étaient pas accessible car pas nettoyée et presence de batteries dans l'eau... La piscine est assez grande et bien agréable et la literie est top. Le seul bémol aura été le bruit de la musique des autres clients... Mais ce n'est du ressort de l'hotel... malheureusement, tout le monde n'a pas le meme sens du respect...

The photos on the website are extremely misleading. This is an overpriced 2* motel at best. The lobby is very tired looking. Room was dingy with a very damp odor and felt unclean. I don’t recommend it.

The reviews were great so I booked a stay. It's a dated Motel with clean rooms & very small bathrooms. TV picture was horrible, monochrome, remote broken. We headed out early and the cleaning girl/lady was waiting for us to leave. We came back 6 hours later, cleaning cart still outside our room, no cleaning person in sight. Room was clean, clothes had been re-folded, and my travel backpack had been pilfered, money stolen. So, the clothes were refolded because they were searched for $$ or anything valuable. What a horrible feeling to know someone had gone through all your belongings. I approached the Front Desk, advised the asst. manager of what happened. He handed me the phone number for Naples PD to file a complaint. The Manager has never called or contacted me. I filed a complaint with NPD and was told their are much better hotels and to stay away from The Collins. Wish I knew that before I booked!!

Received an email from *********** that stated our reservation had been canceled. My husband said he hadn't canceled the room. I called and asked to speak with a manager. I was informed they didn't have any managers today. I asked why our reservation had been canceled and the girl said it was for renovations and that I should b getting an email. Usually, renovations are planned in advance and they should have known this when we reserved the room. I get an email that says they had to cancel because they over booked. So.....is it renovations or over booking? Either way, I would not recommend this place.

Hôtel vieillissant avec des chambres style année 90 qui mériteraient des rénovations ! C’est dommage car la piscine et le jardin sont accueillants et entretenus! La situation de l’hôtel est idéale et le stationnement est gratuit! Service à la réception au check-in inexistant, grosse amélioration à faire à ce niveau également! Expérience bof bof dans l’ensemble
