Edgewater Beach Hotel

We were greeted from the very beginning with a warm and sincere staff, notably, Jeremy. It didn’t stop there. I think it was Patrick at the front desk who also greeted us. Arlene, the manager in dining with got to know through our days there. It’s wonderful to feel that people care and are open to being friendly, the service was excellent. I would have liked the doors on the first floor where we were at to have locked from the outside so I wouldn’t have to go around to the pool but that was minor. I love the open access to the beauty of the nature of the beach, which was only steps away. I will be back.

The Gulf is truly pristine and quiet and warm enough for wading or swimming then back to one of the 2 pools. The food and service is memorable especially the beach staff. Alan you rock! WE LOVED EVERY DAY HERE. Our suite was quiet and we slept comfy each night.

I booked this hotel on Feb 7, 2024. I cancelled on March 6, 2024 and received confirmation that my reservation was cancelled. On March 30th, I was charged $2727, for the full length of my stay. I called the hotel to let them know of this mistake, and was told someone from the hotel would contact me. No one called me, so I called and emailed them on April 1st. After speaking to 3 representatives, they told me they would refund my hotel stay. I waited a week and still did not see the refund, so I contacted them, and was told it could take a total of 10-15 days for them to refund (why?). After 16 days, I still have not been refunded. I followed up again today asking why I have not been refunded and was assured it would be refunded today. It has not. Think twice before booking this hotel.

From check in to check out we had a fantastic time and the service was brilliant, just a shame we couldn’t stay longer. Free use of laundry and brilliant pool, beach and bar service. The beach is incredible and for those that haven’t been to Naples before, it’s very much worth a visits with properties and restaurants that are out of this world!

We visited the hotel for lunch and asked for a site tour so we could determine if it was a hotel for our family vacation in November. The front desk was extremely helpful and we were guided by Alison to see the various room configurations. Alison was just wonderful and gave us her valuable time with our tour. We are planning to stay here as a result of her charming personality and efficient capabilities. Thanks Alison!!

Planned a long weekend getaway with fiance since we have never been to Naples. Overall I would say Edgewater is average and lacking on a few things. I will start with the good things. Beach is beautiful and very soft. We had a tower king suite 5th floor good view of gulf with pool right in front of us. Room was pretty spacious. They could include a stove and more bottles of water per day. The water pressure in shower was absolutely terrible and so low it barely felt like I took a shower. Balcony was nice but could have more comfortable chairs. Complimentary coffee was nice but they literally had no flavored creamer anywhere. There should be a complimentary breakfast for over 1000$ a night fee. Food at beach was ok service fairly slow and lacking enough workers especially during “spring break” I really enjoyed the turkey club. The mixed drinks at beach were high priced and very small I thought. Need more bathrooms outside by pool. The two they have are very small and busy and stuffy. Need ventilation fans in hotel room bathrooms as well. The fact that you have to wait in line each day at 9am to get a “front row” seat at beach is ridiculous. It should be first come first serve starting at 7am. The fire pit by pool should stay lit past 11pm. The worker shut it off each night at 1055pm. Overall an ok place but way overpriced at over 1000$ a night. I don’t think I’ll be back in the future.

The Edgewater Beach hotel sports such a beautiful view of the white sugar-cube Naples sand beach and the gulf of Mexico. Guests will enjoy the pleasure of being treated to nearby shopping and attractions. My 1 Bed, King Suite with a Lanai/Beachfront says it all and was enhanced even further by a full kitchen with all accompanying accessories. The Coast is an elegant outdoor waterfront eatery with culinary classics from around the globe as well as an a array of creative cocktails. The internationally inspired menu reveals such items as; Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Shrimp & Lobster Ravioli, Zucchini Noodle Stir Fry and more. My taste buds took me to: French Onion Soup, Pesto Crusted Salmon, Key Lime Pie & a Key Lime Martini.......I'm a sucker for anything key lime..........everything was exceptional. The Edgewater has 2 outdoor heated pools that cuddle up to the ocean, a fitness center, pool side bar, meeting and event space......and the attitude is family friendly. So, if you want a beautiful beach that promotes a relaxing atmosphere........................ ..........then the try ..........Edgewater Beach Hotel.......a leg up on the beach.

My husband and I have been to this hotel numerous times. Every single time, we had positive experiences. The rooms are really clean, the views are incredible, and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. We were going to the Car Show sponsored by Ferrari of Naples, and Alison and Mimi, at the front desk, were so helpful and gave us all the information on how to get tickets (when we made the reservations) and where to get the shuttle so we wouldn't have to worry about parking. At breakfast, Penny and the entire staff are welcoming. Even Fernando, the valet, gave great suggestions on where to go to eat and helped with the directions on where we wanted to go. There are two pools so there is plenty of room, a bar for drinks and food, and the hotel is right on the beach. I suggest you bring some water bottles and snacks if you would rather sit on your balcony and enjoy the view from your room. It is truly a pleasure, and we can't wait to go back.

Property was very clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was excellent and the food at the restaurant was great. Nice touch having free cookie from 2 to 4 daily. The only con of the resort is the tiny toiletries provided. They are like sample size. I have stayed in other upscale hotels where dispensers of body wash lotion and conditioner is provided. Those would be a welcome addition at this resort.
