We arrived late by train, so having a hotel very near the station was great. As with most areas near major railway stations, the area is not the best - loud, full of litter, feeling a bit unsafe. But in fact, we had no problems whatsoever. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean snd comfortable. And the hotel is a short walk away from the historical centre of Napoli with lots of interesting restaurants and shops. We have been in Napoli several times now and it is what it is....and hasn't changed over the last few decades. So, be especially careful with your money.

We arrived in the evening and were greeted by the receptionist Roberta who was pleasant and very helpful. She was able to Gove us good advice about restaurants nearby and recommended a specific one Attanasio where the food was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The location near the central station was excellent also.

Firstly, the hotel is lovely. The rooms modern and well equipped with everything you need, the beds are comfortable and the staff can not do enough for you. Breakfast is really nice, with lots of choice. The hotel is also really well located if you plan on visiting other areas of Naples as it is right next to the metro and main train station. However, the area is not for the faint hearted and certainly not ideal if you plan on staying local during your stay. The adjacent streets are full of immigrants sleeping rough and there is trash and dodgy dealings everywhere. It is also not an area to be wandering around after dark. When we first arrived we were shocked by what we saw, especially as within 1 hour of arrival 4 police cars rocked up and arrested a man right in front of the hotel. Immediately we contemplated leaving to find a new hotel in a different area, however thankfully when we mentioned our concerns to the hotel staff they reassured us that we wouldn’t have any problems, and showed us on a map some places to go and visit in better areas. For the 4 days of our stay we took the metro every morning to explore other areas and then returned in the evening to the hotel. We also discovered a nice restaurant right around the corner from the hotel called Gaetano Adamo where we ate every night so we didn’t have to wander too far. A few tips: - Be careful in the Garibaldi metro station and keep bags where you can see them. A man tried to pickpocket me on the escalator. - Try to avoid this metro station at night. - If you plan to go to Pompeii scavi, go to the Porta Nolana station nearby to take the circumvesuviana train. It’s the first station so you’ll get a seat. (Everyone generally gets on at Garibaldi and then have to stand for the 40 min journey) - To cross the road at any zebra crossings, you need to be brave and just start walking. The cars will not stop otherwise. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to the hotel in the future.

Booked through ***********, usually very reliable. The afternoon of the day before the hotel said my credit card authorization wasn't approved. I gave new card details to ***********. Two hours later I got a message saying the hotel had cancelled my booking. As the same credit cards have been OK for every transaction on this trip, and neither app shows a transaction request, and one of them worked fine for the replacement hotel booking, I am.dountdul about their reason.

Very helpful man at reception when we arrived, room clean and comfortable, good selection at breakfast. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful, and other staff the same. Less than 5 minute walk to central train station.

My boyfriend, our 6 month old baby and I just stayed here for 8days and 7 nights. And I can’t recommend it enough. The hotel is very close to the train and metro station and it was easy for us to go to every where we wanted to. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty everyday. There is storage area downstairs where we kept our stroller every time we came back to the hotel instead of carrying it upstairs to the 3ed floor. The hotel has no lift but that wasn’t a problem for us as what better way to walk off some of the gelato, pizza and pasta we ate daily. Also what they lack in facility they make up in hospitality. The staff are very friendly especially Rosario at the front desk who always recommended the best places to eat, islands to visit or even how to get around the city. The Internet is excellent and there was daily housekeeping. The hotel is next door to the bakery with the best Sfogliatelle in town so be sure to wake up early on one of your days and skip the queue. Getting here we were half expecting the credit card scan we had read on previous reviews but there was no issue. We had received an emailed prior to arrival about our credit being rejected. We put in a new one and had no issue at checkin. As a matter of fact we added an extra night at the same price. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and would totally recommend if you are considering a trip to Napoli.

Good signage to locate the front door of the hotel, but nothing more than that. Area where the hotel is located is dodgy and unsafe. Staff aren’t particularly attentive. City tax had to be paid in cash, but they don’t have nor give you your change! No elevator and no offer of assistance with suitcases. Must leave your room key at the front desk every time you leave the building. Breakfast was okay day one, but unfortunately the same tinned fruit, fresh fruit, pancakes & cakes were re-plated still on day 3! Asked for a coffee at breakfast, but forgotten about, had to ask twice! Rooms were clean, bathroom modern although extremely small. Little to no space to hang towels or clothes.

Canceled our reservation the day before arrival due to credit card problems. (Later we ordered a hotel and a taxi with the same credit card without any problem) So we lost our booking discount, we have to cancel our taxi from airport and finally we have to try to find hotel in one day thats actually cost more money. Bad communication and bad experience.

NEVER EVER stay here , we booked to stay here for Friday 20th May , our flight to Naples was delayed and we arrived at 12.30 am but when we arrived at Bella Napoli suits it was closed and we were stranded in Naples with no where to stay even tho the website says reception is 24hours and when we rang the number on my booking and it connected to hotel Napoli and they were absolutely no help and just said they were closed and nothing they could do to help , absolutely no excuse you can’t leave guests who have paid stranded on the streets of Naples . I am also pregnant and exhausted after a day of travel , we booked 2weeks ago and paid in advance this is an absolutely disgraceful way to treat a paying guest absolutely no excuse NEVER EVER stay here I was terrified and had no idea what to do for the night. I will be expecting a full refund and at the very least an apology

Very frendly and helpful staff, A really good breakfast. Wide range of fresh bakery, fruit, juices, milk, rice milk, coffe, tea, cakes, jams, honey, cheese, boiled and scrambled eggs. You will not starve! Clean rooms, even wiht slippers. At Piazza Garibaldi, yes, a lot of africans selling their stuff there on the streets, or just hanging around, but we felt safe, not so bad area.

We booked this hotel for one night before leaving from the train station the next day. It’s very convenient as it is very close to the central station of Naples. The area was just as chaotic and crowded with immigrants as any other area around any central train station in a city, which is absolutely normal. Hotel felt safe and calm. The room was simple but cozy and the bathroom was new, clean, and nice. The view was also simple but you pay for what you get, so it’s fair. Breakfast was good and the owner very kindly gifted us a bottle of wine at the checkout, which was a pleasant surprise. Had a nice stay. Would recommend for backpacking trips around Naples. Not going to be for you if you have a desperate desire to lug around massive, heavy luggages, since there are only stairs with no lift.

BEWARE!!!! This hotel is in a very bad criminal area near the train station where are you are afraid to take out your bags even at night. There is NO parking and there are NO elevators at all. The outside under a scaffolding and the area are absolutely disgusting. They might’ve done good job inside, but just getting to those rooms is annoying like in a bad movie. I truly wonder how it even got a three star rating. 1-star at best. Avoid this place by all means. It’s the worst of the worst in Naples. You will be shocked. Plus these innkeepers are fraudsters. 15 minutes after my reservation I arrived at the hotel to be shocked. After I immediately canceled the room they said I can only cancel with the booking agent. The agent later referred to the hotel, who has to refund. Total runaround. In the meantime they resold the room in front of my eyes and obviously double-dipped. 5 emails later with no response I still don’t have my 60€ back. Worst scamsters you can imagine. Irresponsible and rude. They just gouge you and don’t deliver. Naples at its worst

We stayed one night. We checked in at 1am and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood is very creepy and the house looks old and bad on the outside, but inside its new and fresh :) Breakfast is 07:30-10:00 and check out is 10:30. Breakfast is very italian, we didnt eat much. There is no elevator up to the rooms. This hotel was fine for one night.

Canceled our reservation the day before arrival due to credit card problems. Bad communication and bad experience. We was so disappointed, we booked another hotel, in the same street. The whole neighborhood is horrible, don't book near Garibaldi station.

This was the worst stay we ever had at a hotel. We do a lot of traveling with my girlfriend, but this was so disappointing compared to how it is presented on the internet and booking. We arrived on the first day and the stay was initially booked for three nights. When we arrived, they were painting whole the walls of the hotel, so it smells fresh paint everywhere! Very strong smell of paint and especially in the rooms. At the end of the day, we took a shower but it leaked over everywhere so the bathroom was flooded. We went to bed at 11p.m. but impossible to sleep, even with earplugs! It was a big party in the hotel, a lot of people were yelling, screaming, and laughing. We tried to explain to the persons (at 1a.m.) that we would like less noise to sleep but it didn't stop. Even when it stopped after hours, you can hear the neighbours in other rooms speaking and snoring because of the small thickness of the walls. When we woke up, we had a strong headache due to the fresh painting smell. We went to breakfast at 8:30a.m. but it was already full, so they said come back later please. We had a tour reservation so impossible to wait. We didn't have breakfast. At the end we ask to pay back for the following night’s because it was just impossible to stay for us. They said we will refund you trust us. We never had the refund. Very poor hotel with unpleased manager and not honest. Just one advice if you want a good stay in Napoli: book another hotel than this one.
