Lovely Japanese style in with a great location near Nara park. Owner spoke good English and was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and stuff like towels and a toothbrush were provided. The Onsen is open from 17:00 to 23:00 and was a great experience. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Great experience

The hotel is in a good location. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to Nara Park and about 10 minutes to Nara Kintetsu Station. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The only drawback was that the tatami room we stayed in did not have bed-making service like other hotels. Then the quilt is a bit too thick and my body feels a bit itchy...

A typical Japanese small hotel. Experience the awesome tatami accommodation in Japan. The service is in place. At the end of October, although the weather was cold, there was air conditioning for heating. The hotel is a four-minute walk from Nara Kintetsu Station. You can walk to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Nara Park, and Todaiji Temple. Good location.

There is no washroom in the common area or bathroom, only a washing area. The sliding door of the Japanese-style room was squeaky, and it was obvious that people were going in and out.

A relaxed place without the usual formalities. A great hall, themed around manga and samurais, lots of board games and many classic mangas to read (Dragonball, Death note etc., complete series).

The staff were really accommodating. Foreigner friendly. The rooms were as expected and really nice.

Very friendly guests with english speaking staff. Front counter allowed us to store our luggages and accomodated our requests Im going to miss Ryokan Hakuhou

I was alone in a Japanese-style room with a shared bathroom and toilet, but the room was spacious and the air conditioning was good, so I had a comfortable stay. The bath was also comfortable, and unlike Western-style hotels, I was able to freely move around the building in my yukata, which was very nice. The price was also very reasonable. I would like to use it again.
