The room was absolutely great. In Japanese style, futons, tatami, exactly the one we wanted to try. Staff friendly, helpfull and kind. The only thing we dislike was the smell of fried oil in the hotel corridors. Luckily it did not smell in the room.

Our room has 4 futon beds (tatami) which is comfortable to sleep in. The hotel has liquor like sake, coffee, soda water and snacks as welcome drinks for the guests which is a plus point. Distance from JR and Kintetsu train station is within 10min walking distance. On our way to the hotel we already saw some deers which is a nice surprise to us as we are yet to be near to the Nara Park.

This hotel really stands out for its incredibly attentive staff. There's a lounge at the front desk offering complimentary drinks throughout the day. While it's on the opposite side of Nara Park from Kintetsu Nara Station, there's a bus stop right across the street, and buses are frequent, so you won't wait long. They also have a large public bath in the basement – I'd recommend a soak before dinner. For breakfast, there's a buffet featuring a wonderful selection of local Nara specialties.

The room is huge and the tatami is more comfortable than expected. We are traveling by car so even the location is a bit remote it’s still acceptable, just that the parking area is a but difficult to find especially if u arrive at night.

Very convenient location for shopping and transportation.

This hotel is located in between the two train stations. It is on a busy road, but the sights are walkable. The room was large, and it was great to have a sitting area and space to relax. The furnishings are worn and dated. The onsen is a nice feature at the end of a long day. As were the free drinks in reception in the early evening. We enjoyed our stay.

It is not far from Nara JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but Kintetsu Station is relatively closer. I checked in during my birthday. I informed the hotel in advance and received a handwritten card and a bag of konpeito when I checked in. There is no need to clean up and there are free cans of sparkling wine or barley tea. I added a Japanese dinner, and when I was almost done with the meal, the restaurant staff also brought free small cakes with candles and fruit platters, which was very touching. The rooms are all sliding doors, with a tatami area, which is very large and clean. There are free white pajamas to change every day. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas, and there are two hair dryers. There is free coffee and matcha milk on the first floor. You can mix your own sparkling wine before 21 o'clock in the evening, and the souvenir shop is also open before 22 o'clock to buy some specialties. There is a free 1-hour walking tour of Nara street buildings at 7 o'clock on weekends. Just inform the hotel in advance to make an appointment. There is a non-hot spring hot spring bath on the basement floor, but I didn't experience it due to the itinerary. The breakfast is a buffet of Japanese scenic spots. The egg rolls are delicious, and the fruit is as good as cantaloupe. A very pleasant stay experience

Bad review, bad review, bad review. This hotel is the most unpleasant experience in my trip to Japan. I booked a twin room for more than 500, but there was one more person when I arrived. At first, they charged me 25,000 yen more, as if they had never seen money. After repeated communication, they deducted my original breakfast and said that I would have to pay at least 13,500 yen more. They used the most gentle words but did the most cruel thing. I couldn't communicate with the Ctrip manager to check out, and I was speechless in the end. But I have a backbone. I don't want the room or the money. It's super wordy and there is no service attitude at all.

The location of this hotel is hard to describe. Across the street is a Japanese cemetery. Don't stay here if you mind. It's a long way from Wakakusa Mountain, a certain distance from the station, and a little far from the bustling commercial street. The important thing is that this hotel sees that you are Chinese and can't speak Japanese. They are not enthusiastic at all and don't say hello when they see you. It is completely different from other Japanese hotels. However, the room is relatively large, the price is relatively cheap, and the environment is relatively new. If you don't consider those things, you can choose it.

The hotel is in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and you can go to see the deer~ There is also a shopping mall nearby, which is convenient The hotel is also very clean and hygienic, and the bed sheets, bath towels and trash cans are changed every day. The breakfast is also great. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious for the price, and I was able to relax. I stayed in a twin room, but the firmness of the mattress on the bed suited me, so I slept well. If I could request something more, I would have appreciated being able to choose the height of the pillow.
