Stayed here for one night was lovely Would highly recommend We had food in the restaurant below which was lovely The roo. Wad lovely and clean the staff in restaurant was good they accommodated us as we had a few allergies

We booked a double room for one night. The checking in time was between 1500 and 1800. We arrived at 16.00. We went in and said we had booked. We were told that there should be an envelope in the entrance porch with the room key in as the bar/restaurant downstairs is a separate business to the hotel. Checked the porch, nothing there. They gave us his number, it went straight to answer phone. Tried a few times on and off over the next hour and a half, same every time, leave a message. So there we were stuck without a hotel for the night. We eventually found a room , the last one available at 18,00. I contacted Trip.com who were really helpful. Scott from Trip.com tried to contact the owner but had no luck. Within about 20 minutes we had had a full refund and have been told to keep our hotel receipt and they will give us some compensation for the hassle we had. So Ty Waldo absolute rubbish,, Trip.com wonderful. We eventually stayed in Plas Hyfryd Country Hotel. Absolutely wonderful, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again .

We stayed in the Presli room for 1 night and to say you could not “swing a cat” in it is an understatement! The room was claustrophobic and when you opened the window the droning of the fridges/freezers in the restaurant underneath kept you awake.There was no hanging space and the quality of the bedding was poor. The following morning we called the owner Matt to advise him that we could not stay for the further 3 nights booked as we were totally dissatisfied with the room.He was apologetic and said he would not charge us for our stay.We insisted that we paid for the 1 night and left the property at 10.00am. Subsequently, 2 nights were charged from my credit card. I called Matt to query this and was told that he had to charge for 2 nights as he could not re-let the room, He then cut off the call. As we left at 10.00am and checkout being up to 11.00am and check in at 15.00 how could that be so? Matt is not trustworthy in his attitude and behaviours so beware!

Stayed for 1 night in May 2021. There are detailed instructions on where to park, you can either park free is the unlimited street parking or park in the towns car park which is £2:00 for 24 hours. We chose the latter and it is a lovely short walk through the town. Check in was very simple with no fuss. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated with a lovely shower. The location is amazing, I would recommend staying here before any ‘chain’ hotel on the premises of cost, style and comfort. Would stay again

We stayed here for a friend's wedding nearby. It's above a restaurant, so it was noisy and we did not sleep well. The room was clean and comfortable, but small details could have improved our stay. For example, toiletries were not provided even though the folder in the room said that they were, and instead of a double bed, we had two single beds pushed together. No staff were present throughout our stay, our keys were left in an envelope to pick up, and we had to phone a member of staff in order to settle our bill. We overall felt that the experience was not good value for money.
