For one, after spending nearly $700.00 over the course of two nights, we were double charged on our bill. Second, I had an item that was left in the room (the hanging closet in the room) that I realized as soon as I unpacked my bags (after a 5 hour drive home). I callled the hotel to alert them immediately to let them know about my lost item of clothing. I emphasized to the hotel staff that this was an important item of clothing to me. This all occured on a Sunday. We realized on Monday our double charge and we again contacted the hotel regarding the incorrect billing. At this time, it was again mentioned that my lost item of clothing had yet to be addressed. On Tuesday, I contacted the hotel for the third time and was told "That we have not heard back from housekeeping." Note that this is now almost 48 hours after my initial phone call to the hotel staff. I asked them to please let me know one way or another what was the status of my item of clothing. I finally received a follow-up phone call that they were not able to locate the left item of clothing. There was pretty much an approach of " you are ^%$# out of luck..." I cannot presume to assume anything on what happened to my left item of clothing. I do believe that if the hotel staff had responded right after my initial phone call on Sunday that my item of clothing would have been found in the closet. I realize this is a small thing, but this incident showed a complete lack of customer service or concern to just help a customer.
