SpringHill Suites Nashville MetroCenter

Overall very sad that this is considered a Marriott hotel. The breakfast (as many reviews say) is terrible. I don't mean like "bummer there's not great options" like you might get sick from it. The juice, the bread, the sausage, etc. it's very questionable. And they don't put everything out, and honestly don't seem to care. Stale cereal, chunky milk (not frozen like they tried to tell us, SOUR chunky), no waffles, sausage that is questionable looking, etc... The elevator in this hotel isn't a thing - and I had four boys get stuck in it WITH the elevator tech. He let them come in and said it was fine - then proceeded to get them stuck. We asked why you'd let them come in with you while you're fixing it. He said "I was in here, it was fine" it's not fine - please don't let children get trapped in an elevator, basically knowing that is likely to happen. They do not have a sign out, and just let people get in an unreliable elevator regularly. Sounds like it never works. I used it once during our stay and almost tripped getting out 2-3 inches below the floor when it finally stopped and opened. We didn't use it again after that! The staff, some of them are SO nice which is so hard when overall your experience is bad, and want to be so helpful, it's just a bummer that their hotel is so poorly organized/run in terms of food and service. I was charged and my card held multiple times, and billed and posted payment for parking when I paid parking in cash when I first arrived. The rooms were fine - spacious and worked for what we needed, there is a tiny fridge, microwave and small sink in our room. The beds and room were fine and very SpringHill classic which worked well for us. 0-12 cars windows were SMASHED in the parking lot overnight while we were there. Apparently we were told this is a known issue b/c of no cameras on the end of the lots... So each side of the hotel cars smashed. But in front, where there's cameras nothing smashed. Do not stay here!!  I do NOT recommend staying here unless all you'd like is a pillow to lay your head on and then get up and go, if that is the reason then it's perfect! If you're looking to stay multiple nights, want breakfast or drive a car here, I would avoid it!!!!

Ridiculous. 15 dollar charge for parking in their surface parking lot. Its not like it was a downtown ramp…. It was a surface lot. Way to go Marriott. Squeeze those dollars out of your guests. Where else would you suggest to park??? I’m staying at your hotel. Last time I stay here. No shortage of hotels in Nashville…

Breakfast was poor. 2nd day they didn’t have much selection and didn’t keep food stocked.

The room actually looked like the pictures. The check in staff had a great smiley personality. Hotel smelled and looked nice. We asked for a room by the indoor pool and we got the first room next to it! We are very happy with everything.

The room was 64 degrees when we arrived, then it went to 87 when we adjusted the thermostat. The shower was so high pressure that it hurt to shower.

The property was nice & clean.

Upon entering the building, it was clean and the gentleman at the front desk was respectful and helpful. He explained everything including the Wi-Fi, credit card holds policy and much more. Room appeared to be half cleaned and the housekeeper have some much time in a room to clean. The sofa had no liens or pillow available. Under the soda bed on the floor was dirty with trash. Missing closet doorknob missing, two televisions in the room, when watched at the same time, change another television. Shower walls not cleaned body wash and conditioner bottles empty. In morning front desk was a different story, she was not respectful she was overheard talking down to a customer over a request for hand towels. She didn't greet guest, not even a good morning. No assistance is the breakfast area, no coffee available, sausage was hard. Guest attempted to get her attention and no response from her. Noise complaint with room 108 watching television as if they are in the movie theater, listened and watch housekeeper open a room without having the guest check in with the front desk to check their ID. Your stuff is not safe in your own room.

Pretty good, air conditioner was having a hard time keeping up but was fine at night
