Mariam was great. She went and got me a decaf coffee from Starbucks when I requested decaf. The breakfast and lunch was also delicious. Really good steak sandwiches and salads. Great friendly staff! Highly recommend! Always have a great experience at Marriot and was recommended this hotel from a friend.

Mark at the front desk is one of the greatest employee for Marriott. I suggested you use him to train other employees on how to treat guest he’s exemplary. You may also use him to teach the valet kids in the front how to properly greet a guest and help them with baggage and opening the doors, when I checked in there were three boys standing there talking to each other not one of them offered to do anything. Also, I must tell you out of all the Marriott I stay out across the country. This is one of the nicest hotels, but it has the worst service and the worst food. You really need to get a good manager in here to fix this.

Overall was a good overnight stay the in-house restaurant definitely saved the trip.got to the hotel to check in and check on the parking situation,it was a mandatory $50 valet parking.that
night we went to eat at our favorite restaurant in town and decided to take the hotel shuttle,we were given a number to call for the shuttle,he said it would be 20-25 minutes before he got to the hotel,we waited over a hour and no shuttle so we ate at the in-house restaurant which was very good.other than that the staff was very nice

Nice place! The van to transport us downtown was very helpful. No trouble an anything. The only complaints were that they were doing construction and we had trouble finding access to hotel, as the little sign wasn’t very large. And I hate feather pillows. Overall, great stay.

Unbelievably disappointed. Will not return! Was charged $350 against my card by this Marriott without permission and without receipt. Have emailed and called a dozen times - with no return call and no return email from Wendy or Jason (front desk managers). Had to dispute it with my credit card company. Watch your credit card with this place, they lack integrity!

Our stay at the Marriott Vanderbilt was memorable for all the right reasons. Upon check in we were given a room with an amazing view of Centennial park and the Parthenon where our wedding was to take place. This was amazing but it is secondary to the attentiveness of the front desk staff, at every turn they went above and beyond Cedric, Wendy, Luisa and Sofie made each and every day of our stay special. When I realised I had forgotten my curler on my wedding day Wendy offered me her own personal device and I could not be more appreciative. After we departed Nashville, we discovered our return flight was canceled and though a very busy for the hotel a room was made available last minute at the Inn for us. In the end, it is people who make the difference and the Marriott staff came through at every turn. We cannot thank the above mentioned members of the team enough and certainly specially more to Cedric and Wendy.

The shuttle drivers (Antwan and Nick) were absolutely the best!!! They showed us all the best spots in Nashville and dropped us off the beaten path to the best bar off Broadway (Ole Smokey’s). Couldn’t be more impressed with their hospitality. They made the trip!
