Went to Nashville with an old military buddy just to check out Nashville. We came during the week hoping the crowds wouldn't be too much. We drove around and then got something to eat and saw this hotel which is very convenient to all the "sights". I called and made a reservation for the night, and based on the prices for similar hotels in the area we figured this would be ok due to the location. As far as appearance it's an average Hampton Inn, the lobby area is nicer than some. We paid (before tax, parking, etc) about $155 for a weeknight, after taxes and parking $225 (parking fee is hideous but it's a relatively short walk to the touristy area.) The room was average, no frills but clean. The one surprise was the morning continental breakfast wad better appointed than breakfast offerings, and I was very pleasantly surprised at all they had to offer. The food tasted fresh and good, and the juices, milk, coffee etc were all also fresh and good. The breakfast alone gave this review a star on its own. There are other cheaper hotel options around, but for a couple old military buddies doing some touristy junk it was all we needed. Parking is CRAMPED but there are plenty of spots so if you're in a big car or truck/van be prepared to do some squeezing! Service is average, nobody cares anymore they're all scrolling on their phones or talking to co-workers or something so to even complain about it is not worth your breath, just deal with the lack of professionalism and move on.
