Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Vanderbilt

A bit outdated rooms and facilities, but clean and and good value of money.

We have stayed here multiple times in the past 5-10 years, so we *thought* we knew what we were going to get. It's summer in Nashville, so I'm somewhat ok looking the other way with the building and room feeling humid. The room as a whole was fine; comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, fairly comfy chair & ottoman. The minor things are just confusing and concerning that this once Awesome hotel is trending down. 🚪the key card on the door was busted! Sliding in the card was the MOST FINICKY OF ALL TIME, giving us problems. One time the key card slid all the way in, eating the card. Maintenance came to retrieve the card. No fix was made, we were just told to be careful. 🪟 The sunshades behind the window curtain was janky AF, the left side was down but wouldn't move (the cord had been removed and tucked at the top). All while the right was up without a way to get it down, except to pull it. But when I did that, I realized why they had it up and the electric motor turned off... It didn't go all the way down and was shredded. 💧The sink is backwards, hot water to the right & cool to the left. 🌡️ The thermostat was broken. While the room was kept cool, it was uncomfortably cool with it being humid. It was humid enough that the furniture had a tacky feel to it. Did the room work for us, yes. Were all the small things adding up make us consider that our next trip will be booked elsewhere, also yes.

Vanessa at the Hilton Garden Inn is absolutely amazing! She’s friendly, welcoming, and always on point with her service. My drink never sat empty, and her timing was perfect the whole night. She has a great personality, makes you feel at home, and really knows how to take care of her guests. If you’re stopping by the bar, definitely look for Vanessa — she’s awesome!

Filthy! Checked in at 9:00pm, checked out at 9:30 pm Carpet was sticky, saw dry bloody shoe prints, hand print in hall. I sincerely think this was a crime scene. Why and how did hotel miss this mess?! Stay here if you want a STD

This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times the bartender Vanessa took excellent care of me and my coworkers. The hospitality was outstanding! I was glad to see a familiar face and will back again.

Lakendrick is the best — he's very helpful and kind and he was able to manage multiple customers at once by himself. We had a booking glitch at the front desk and he was so patient through it all while being communicative throughout our wait. Thank you Lakendrick!
