A VERY pleasant trip. Our children gave us tickets to see Frankie Valli at the Grand Ole Opry for our anniversary. A comfortable, clean, and pleasant employees at Best Western made our trip one to celebrate!

I ended up with a handicap room. The shower was rigged up. With only a funky hand wand that would fall down in shower every 10 seconds. The rest of the room was good.

Clean room. Comfortable king bed. Breakfast good. Close to Opry. Free parking at the mall across from Opry. Downtown 1 hr local bus ride. 20US uber each way. Shuttle 10US round trip 10-430pm. Downtown hotels at least double the price. Some restaurants walkable. We had a vehicle. We knew the distances prior to booking.

Not so great experience. First room had 2 smashed bugs on the wall, they quickly moved us to a second room that was cleaner, much appreciated even though we were then nervous. The only drink machines were fully stocked, however they didn’t work and the staff could not open. So we had to drive down the road for a bottle of water.

Stayed overnight in Room 415 to visit General Jackson showboat and Opry Mills. Room 415 is a king suite with a jacuzzi. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The only dings I would give it were that the toilet was low to the floor, and the drapes wouldn't close all the way. Breakfast the next morning included hot items (bacon, eggs, waffles); fruit; yogurt; bread, bagels, and pastries; cereal; juice, coffee, and tea. The breakfast attendant and the clerks were friendly. The price was good ($115) compared to others in the area.. Overall a good stay. I would recommend.
