Hyatt Place Nashville / Brentwood

This hotel is beyond a shadow of a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I should have known when we arrived and there was no one to help with your bags that it was going to be a bad experience. So, I unloaded my car onto a trolley and helped my 96 year old mother onto the elevator. The room was ok, but had a bathroom so small even a small person could barely get in and close the door without moving to the side to do so. The beds were adequate, though a bit soft. We left for most of the next day and when we returned our beds had not been made. They took used towels and emptied the trash but that was all. When I inquired the next morning at the front desk I was told they only make the beds “every other day”! However, we stayed a total of 4 nights and the beds were never made the entire time! The breakfast was average. And it was the same menu every single day. One morning when we arrived there was almost no food left and no one had bothered to clean up around the area. On top of that, they charge you some fee for who knows what even though my entire booking had been paid in advance. Part of that is supposed to be refunded but “could take 7 to 10 days”. When I went to check out, there was no one at the front desk and we had to wait over 15 minutes for him to return. There was a sign stating he was off performing other duties! Perhaps he was making up our beds?? Then when I told him how disappointed I was he just stared at the computer. Did not say he was sorry or anything. All he said was,” Ok, your checkout is complete.” I know one thing…I have stayed there twice…my first time and my LAST! Worst hotel and still not inexpensive.

Breakfst was excellent. Location was very good. Sink drained very slowly. Bath light took several minutes to reach full brightness

Hotel needs updating, parking lot poorly lit, carpet felt sticky, not at all what I expected from a Hyatt hotel especially for my first time staying at one, and in a very nice neighborhood

This was my second stay at Hyatt Place. I find the location to be about the best in terms of accessing shows I play in the area, including in Nashville. I like that there are outlets nearby and a Target across the street to pick up things when needed. The staff here are courteous and professional. They take a genuine interest in their guests and ensuring their stays are enjoyable. I wanted to compliment Zara in particular for welcoming me when I arrived after a tough journey from Asheville, due to detours related to I-40 being closed. I also appreciate that the parking lot has overnight security because I am a traveling musician. I don't leave gear in my car, but there are speakers and other accessories I leave in the trunk. Nothing would derail a tour anymore than having your car broken into. The only caveat I'd offer is that one of the elevators was down and it made waiting longer especially during busy times and the several times I had to load out and load in gear. I appreciate the Hyatt having a complimentary buffet and fresh coffee in the morning. Staff for the buffet are outstanding. You even have oat milk, which is rare in my stays and my choice for my coffee, so thank you! Oh, and fresh fruit every morning.

We have always had the best experience. The staff is always very nice and attentive. The food is great and the service. ❤️❤️

My daughter stays here frequently and the ladies at the front desk go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. All the staff has been wonderful.
