Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy the Stat Apartments Midtown

We arrived here in October 2025 for 7 nights, firstly no reception, key pad to enter, no pin no has been e mailed, Trivago did not e mail Sonder our e mail address after 4 1/2 hours we had to give up and go to another hotel at a further cost, no help from Sonder couldn’t care less, Trivago equally useless we are now home and fighting for a refund which does not look promising definitely stay clear of this hotel

I think people should know that they own 40 + properties so really should know how to run a proper stay but even worse give no option but to provide their visitors/customers personal information to secure their room in time. We booked for 3 nights after the first night wrote to say the pull out couch was broken and horribly slanted with the middle bar being broken. Imagine trying to sleep while your feet are almost touching the floor. The app customer service said they would send someone by , no time provided and informed us we needed to take pictures and send to them. After a few hours we asked for a time and were told at some point during the day and We didn't need to stay. This never happened and again we had to sleep on a broken couch on Day 2. Day 3 contacted the app again and was told that they would get right on it. This is now the last night of 3 and after returning from a full day of tours in the Nashville area we came back to a blow up bed in box for us to put up (no pump). Other things that should be noted. After you reserve your stay and after they take the $ from your credit card they send an email telling you that you will only get the code to your room after you do 2 things. 1- Get their app 2- Enter all information about your personal information, pictures of photo ID, credit card picture, date of birth Oh and a full face scan (left to right) just like an IPhone does but without the option of saying No . There is no complaining as they will not answer you and of course they have your $ just as you are about to travel. 3 adults for a 3 day stay we received 1 shampoo 1 conditioner (15ml each), no soap in the bathroom included.

This place is great! Cute little apartments, the facility is clean and in a good neighborhood. Was super close to where we were visiting, lots of fun restaurants and stuff to do in Midtown and just a short drive or 1/2 hour walk to downtown Nashville and Broadway. Apartment was clean and comfortable, bed was nice. Not a single issue. If you are not familiar with or have not experienced one of these Sonder rental units, this is my 2nd time and they seem to be a fabulous company. They are popping up in a lot of larger urban areas and are easy to work with, all the entrance are key-pads, communication is excellent. Definitely try them out.

The apartment was very clean and had no issues. Having a table or dresser in the bedroom would be nice for storage. Linens were soft and bed was comfy! Kitchen was nice as well but didn’t cook anything. Parking was ok- tight and enough spots but not many guests were there I think. Nice brunch spot right next door. Walk to town was easy but about a half hour.

A clean, tidy, smartly designed apartment. FULL kitchen [after weeks of polystyrene single us cups and filter, it’s lush to have] a heap of real plates and glasses. Bed is comfy and the sheets a good cotton count. Comfy feather pillows. It’s in a neat neighbourhood, but walkable 30mins to the touristy bits- and farmers market. HiFi clydes next door, is a friendly and welcoming bar for drinks and / or food. Getting entry to the building and the unit digital pass codes, but how to active the key pad - the needs more explanation in the welcome emails. The walls thin / ceiling creaky you can hear the neighbours moving about. Shame there’s no recycling option, but this is the south! Would recommend and would love to come back to stay again.

Found the location to be ideal, 30 min walk to Broadway, quiet area, hi fi cyldes is great next door for food and drinks. Room has everything you could need, very comfortable. Would recommend and stay again.
