The Sobro Guest House by AvantStay

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was good about checking in with me to make sure we were well taken care of. We had two reasons for choosing this location, one was to have a full kitchen the other was to be close to the Bridgestone Arena. Everything in our room was very nice including the kitchen. It had everything we needed to make breakfast every morning. There is a DGX ( Dollar General grocery store ) within walking distance. Bridgestone Arena is closer than it looks on the map. We easily walked to it for the event that we were in town for and safely walked home at 10:30 at night. There are lots of restaurants with live music and sightseeing opportunities within walking distance which was nice because we did not have a vehicle. A really nice amenity is the washer and dryer which also had laundry soap available. We did not use it but it is a nice option in case you do need it.

We rented this place for four days and loved it! We were able to walk to Broadway with no problem. Everything was very clean and the few questions we had were answered promptly. Plenty of space for a couple. We would stay again.

Easy walk to Broadway, great amenities, comfortable bed, very nice room. Check in process for self-serve is done quite well with great communication and support if required. A great experience overall. Definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, and the staff checked in often to make sure things were running smoothly. We would stay here again. The hall/stairways were a little dated and worn looking, but we were pleasantly surprised by the modern and clean unit itself.

Great space with amenities in room. Free parking and attentive hosts. Good pricing and only a few blocks from Broadway. Far enough to wind down after a day of festivies but close enough to travel back and forth with easw.

We loved the location, the space, everything was clean and convenient. Location was excellent and safe. Staff respnded quickly when needed.

We have stayed here multiple times. Never disappoints! Very clean. Will be back!

It would have been nice if we had had at least 4 washcloths instead of just 2 for 2 adults for 3 nights.

Parking is tight for a larger vehicle but free so that saves $50 a night. No front desk. No luggage storage. No refills on anything. Only one hand towel and two wash clothes for two people for three days. Requested and early checkin three days ahead like Avantstay website requires and response was can’t request until day of. Request refused even though room was ready. Be aware the door code will not work until after 4pm. Bed was comfortable. No overhead lighting in bedroom so very dark. Only wall switch by door to turn off bedside lamps. Safe was out of order. Living room floor was coming up. Watch your toes. Advertised Apple TV but it is Roku. Only AC in living room with a small slat into bedroom. Bathroom door does not close. Kitchen with ice maker was useful for drinks. Did not cook. Cleaning staff did a good job and were very nice. Four long city blocks to broadway. Safe area. Would recommend.
