Amazing experience, hotel is small, intimate, perfectly kept. Amy checked us in, gave us a tour & all the information we needed to enjoy the area. She is brilliant!!!

Wanted to be in a quiet part of Nashville but within walking distance to downtown (Broadway 1.3 miles) and restaurants. This met our requirements and had the added bonus of great staff, being clean and comfortable and little extras like the evening wine/beer and nibbles. Loved sitting on the patio and being joined in the evenings by the neighbourhood cats. Breakfast was good, we loved the quiche, tea and coffee was available along with cold water any time you wanted it. We had seen another review that mentioned no fridges in the rooms, and hotel reply was that it was something they would maybe consider in the future, wasn’t a problem for us as they let us keep fresh milk in their fridge, us Brits do like fresh milk in our tea 😉 The only thing we can fault our room (Polk) for was lack of countertop space in the bathroom, there were glass shelves above the WC (don’t like keeping toothbrushes above a WC) and with such a lovely big bathroom it could have done with more.

Until staying at the Germantown Inn, I have always stayed at 4 or 5 star large hotels when traveling for pleasure or business. Not anymore. The staff at "The Inn" treated us like royalty. Amy Dean and Chrissy Leary were the best. Breakfast in the morning and cocktails in the evening were never done so beautifully. Sitting in the living room talking with other guests made the atmosphere like having an afternoon break being with friends. And the rooms could not have been any better. Comfortable and accessible to the outside, we could not have asked for anything more. We will return to Nashville because there is so much to see. And booking for that return will be made at the Germantown Inn, walking distance to downtown and wonderful restaurants "in the neighborhood".

This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a quiet and safe suburb of Nashville. Germantown also offers several first rate restaurants and bars. You can walk into downtown Nashville in just over 30 mins or an Uber takes 10 mins. This hotel was spotlessly clean with super friendly staff. Plenty of free parking too. If we return to Nashville, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Little did we realize how much the Germantown Inn staff and facility would contribute to maximizing our enjoyment of Nashville. we’d like to keep this our little secret- but, no worries, we’ll gladly spread the word. Chrissy, Amy, Carla and Carlos deserve our highest recommendation for showering us with TLC!

We stayed at this hotel for a week in Marc h 2024. The hotel felt like a home-- it was very quiet, a contrast to the bustling Broadway. The staff seemed interested in us as people and gave excellent recommendations about activities and restaurants. Crossing Jefferson was tricky because cars do not yield to pedestrians-- but there is a controlled crosswalk at the next corner. A special thanks to Chrissy! Definitely not your typical corporate hotel experience where you are just a number and treated impersonally.

Lovely stay in historic surroundings! The staff, including Chrissy, was very helpful and welcoming. Bed very comfortable. I liked staying in a hotel away from the noise and partying closer to downtown. Breakfast was very good and afternoon charcuterie box was excellent (I was never there in the afternoon, but they saved one for me!). Walking distance to upscale dining, shopping and coffee shops. Hoping to come back very soon.

We loved the ambiance of Germantown Inn and found it clean, very quiet and comfortable. We arrived on a rainy afternoon and had time allowed, would have loved to sit in the common area and relax with a book--it is just lovely. The staff were warm and welcoming. The charcuterie box was just what we needed for a light snack before a night at the Ryman (very easy trip into the Ryman also). Such a better experience than we would have had at a big box hotel! We stayed in the Jackson and the only thing I would caution (as the photos reflect but I missed upon booking the room) is that onne side of the bed is up against the wall, so for older couples it may be difficult to manuever if you have to get out of bed in the middle of the night. Next time (and there will be a next time!) we will book one of the larger rooms.
