This resort was fantastic! Food and service was top notch! I never stayed at a Rui, first time, and loved it! Clean resort, excellent staff with great service! Awesome entertainment! We had a blast and the resort and surrounding area was safe! We fell in love with Bahamas and this resort!!!!

If you book through ******* your customer service is less than if you book directly. Entire toilet moves when you sit on. No dead bolt door lock. No ocean view. House keeping very nice. Hard to book and limited dinner reservations. Front desk unable to answer questions about extended stay because I booked through *******. Loud music way after midnight

We were so excited about this trip and felt so let down. For an all-inclusive resort, it's not good. The flights in to Nassau are early in the morning. There's only the buffet for breakfast open in the mornings. It closes at 10am, there is nothing to eat in the entire place until the buffet reopens for lunch at 11. There's a small coffee shop with a few finger sandwhiches - that's all. The 4 resteraunt options don't open until 630, and you must have a reservation for seating. Room service has no breakfast, only a few cold dandwhiches, and a couple deserts.. If you want any hot meals in your room, you must go to the buffet, before it closes at 8pm and get hassled to take food to your room (everyone starts that they're"making an exception as it's not allowed". There are no snacks in the room, and water has not been replaced in 3 days. The mini fridge only supplies soda, beer, and water. There's 4 full bottles of booze but no juices in the room. The spa is a small Solon where tree hot tub/whirlpool & sauna have been broken for months. The reservation states that you have 1250 hotel credits, but when check in, no one knows what that means. The bar pool and main pool are right night to each other, so there's no separation between the party folks and relaxation days. They give you a card to check out 1 towel per guest. If you lose it, they'll charge you $20, and it's 1 card per person. Highly disappointed and we'll not return to any RIU Palace anywhere.

Stay at Riu was enjoyable. I found many of the staff in dining room overwhelmed and did not appear happy to be there. Many staff did not appear welcoming or involved. On Sun our room was left with 1 bath towel and no extra TP...not good. Resort rules do not appear to be guest friendly. If you lose card to room..$200; one pool towel per person and you MUST have the towel card. Check out 12noon, not 12:15, no later than 12 without a charge. This is no Hyatt...... Mel, and the rest of pool activities staff, were so enjoying their jobs. Their spirit and giggles made the day. They were involved, engaging and funny! Resort is in pretty location. Very safe, security and front door staff friendly and helpful. Food was ok. Drinks plentiful. Deserts creative and delicious. All in all, a relaxing, fun 5 day trip.

Musky rooms, no fan, hard bed, terrible coffee in their cafe, can't get a reservation for dinner so you just eat buffet food, room service took forever to get anything especially towels, sad looking place compared to the nice resorts around it. The waves were to strong, no one could swim. Never again.
