從2013年起，除去疫情期間，每年必去。過去網上不能訂，現在可訂方便多了。
理由:
1、酒店在山上，安靜，窗外即景。。
2、酒店旁就能看到温泉流出的山體冒着熱氣，真正的温泉。
3、服務一流，有車迎送。
4、住宿附一日早晚兩餐，食材極好。
以下為2023年11月入住時感想:
從溪雲閣下山到鎮上，一條帚川溪，一座紅葉吊橋，看到的五彩斑斕，是早年植樹前就設計後選定樹種的，高低錯落恰到好處。

もともと熱いお湯が好きで、オーバーフローの源泉かけ流しを求めているのだが、ちょろちょろとしかお湯が出ていなくて、湯舟からお湯はあふれていないし、お湯はぬるくて温泉を堪能できませんでした。 日本秘湯を守る会のお宿でしたが、遠いところまで、車の運転したのに残念でした。 お湯がいいところは、えてして食事と設備が良くないし、それを承知していても、お風呂を楽しめないのでもう一度行きたいとは思えませんでした。

初めて伺いました スタッフの方はみなさんとても感じが良かったです。まずはそれが嬉しかった 至る所に細々した気遣いが感じられました 女性には選べる浴衣をお借りでき、また私的に嬉しかったのは帯の下に結ぶ腰紐があったことです いつも旅館に行くたびに持参しようと思いつつ忘れてしまっているので有難かったです 食事は部屋食です 十分すぎる量でした 朝食ともに満足です お風呂は殆ど他の宿泊客と被ることなくゆったりでき、また貸切も２つのみですが待つことなく何度も利用させて頂きました なぜか時間帯によっては温かったのです 湯量は少な目ですが白濁硫黄泉が堪能できます 温泉上級者？には少し物足りなく感じるかもしれませんが都心からもそう遠くはないので関東圏内で白濁のお湯を求めている方はそこそこ満足できると思います また機会があったら伺いたいと思います

旅館のみなさん親切で感じもよく気分良くステイできました。 ご飯は量もさることながら味付けもバッチリの私好み。 大変満足です。部屋食なところも高評価です。 そしてお目当のお風呂でしたが最高でした。露天風呂は風に乗ってやってくる硫黄の香り。空を見上げればまんまるお月様。 静かな空間を独占しながらお風呂に入れたのはこれまた最高でした。 塩原温泉は何度か利用しましたがこちらの宿が一番のお気に入りです。 また行きたいですね。
