It's the same everywhere, but the indoor bath has the most hot water! (Although the bathtub is also wide) Both the men's and women's open-air baths and private baths are wooden bathtubs surrounded by wood, but they are arranged so that you can see a small garden where carps swim. I think the source is the same, so is it enough to take a private bath once? You can make a reservation at check-in every hour, and if it is available from late at night until check-out, you can enter. The spring quality and freshness are good, and the texture and warm feeling after bathing is truly amazing. And what impressed me even more was the deliciousness of the food! The roast beef (cooked at a low temperature?) made with hot spring water at about 65 degrees is A4 rank and Tochigi Wagyu beef, and the taste is perfect. The other dishes are also very particular, and it is rare to find a ryokan where you can be so satisfied with the food. The only drawback is that it is a ryokan, so there is no elevator, and the stairs are steep due to the narrowness of the building, so it will be difficult for elderly people. In addition, the room we stayed in didn't have a screen door, so if you open the window, you might get insects. That's about it. There are many inns in Shiobara Onsen Village, so while I wanted to stay at various places, it was a wonderful inn that made me want to stay here again.
