I believe this is the nicest place I have ever stayed in 85 years of travel in USA. The place is clean as a penny whistle. The staff is lovely and supportive. Each room in this lovely and historic guest house is a museum. I would recommend this place without qualifications. Just do it. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Guest House. The staff was wonderful, room was beautiful, service was exceptional. Great location, perfect for walking around to all of the downtown shops. Several great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

This lovely Stately Mansion is near the centre of town, parking was plentiful in the street, and walking in the surrounding streets was great with all the historic mansions to view. The riverfront is an easy 10 minute walk - and well worth doing at sunset. This was a perfect change from the usual hotel room.

Location was good. Breakfast was very good with several choices. Bed comfortable. Room was disappointing-we had higher expectations. Toilet ran intermittent.

Tja, dit is ooit misschien wel een mooi hotel geweest, maar mist al enige tijd ‘tlc’. Jarenlang geen onderhoud, geen likje verf, slechte schoonmaak, geen geld in restaurant en personeel eist echt z’n tol! Het is een prachtig pand, maar het stinkt binnen, alles piept en kraakt, deuren zijn te vies om aan te raken, personeel is er niet of schrikt als ze je in een gang zien.. Ontbijt was wel aardig, vers bereid, maar lekker buiten zitten mocht niet, want er was maar 1 serveerster en die kon dat niet aan… Wij komen hier nooit meer terug.

I believe this guest house is the nicest place in USA that I have ever visited. I am 85 years old and I have been a lot of places. This guest house is superb. Each room in the place is like a pre civil war museum. I would return here in a heartbeat. I will recommend this lovely place without reservation. The breakfast in-house is made to order and it is great. The staff is supportive, friendly and informative. You will love your visit.

Upon arriving at The Guest House, I had to call a number in the door to have someone come to the property to register me. It wasn’t a bad wait as I sat on the front porch and enjoyed watching some of the passers by. About 10 minutes later, someone arrived and began helping me get checked jn. The front desk person was extremely friendly and welcoming. She gave a lot of info about the hotel and some of the area things that would be worth checking out. She informed me that no one stayed full time at reception, but she made sure that I had the contact numbers if I needed anything. The room was nicely appointed with “time period” - the bed was extremely comfortable and offered a great nights sleep. The bathroom was a bit dated - but still quite functional. The complimentary breakfast in the restaurant was very good!
Overall, every staff person here was very friendly and welcoming. You must realize you are staying in a place that was built and refurbished. If you are someone who can appreciate the aspect of historical buildings, then you will enjoy a stay here.

The Inn is old and full of charm. We had a very nice room with a balcony. You receive a voucher for breakfast at the small restaurant onsite. We really enjoyed our breakfast because you had menu choices. My husband said they had the best grits he had ever had. But the thing that made this place special was the front desk staff. They call you "darlin" and make you feel right at home. The go beyond the call of duty to help you in every way. Natchez is a charming town, so full of civil war history. Don't miss the carriage tour. I want to come back and tour more of the mansions. Laura Landry Flower Mound. TX
