This accommodation was acceptable for one night.
I made the mistake of not reading the part that said shared bathrooms.

Room 12 was a bit noisy next to bathrooms and kitchen dinning room. So lots of people walk past the room at night. Walls are very thin so can hear what next door are doing. Clean nice staff not much happening around the area.

It was winter in New Zealand. It snowed on the day I went there. I underestimated my self-driving ability and arrived very late. The self-service check-in was very convenient and the room was very warm. Great as a stopover on the way to Volcanoes National Park. Everything that should be there

We ordered breakfast included, but found out in the morning that the information received by the hotel did not include breakfast. The hotel did not prepare it for us, so we had to go out to find food ourselves. Thank you to the front desk for being very helpful.

The plateau lodge is great! The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s in the small village of National Park and directly across the street from the excellent ski outfitters shop. The room was small, but we spent little time in the room anyway. The large community room and kitchen were nice places to relax on rainy days.
