Hotel Royal Regency

If you need to stay in Navsari then this makes a good choice in a busy but not hectic part of town. The english-speaking reception staff were helpful and friendly and the room was modern and immaculate with a walk-in shower. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning effective if a little noisy. The Gujarati breakfast was limited in choice but was good quality. The only thing to lower the score was that the breakfast room was cramped with no atmosphere

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Regency. Staff are very attentive to your needs, specious room with great showers, excellent home style food and very close to the shops. Breakfast sets you up for the day and menu changes everyday with some great Gujarati classics.

Royal Regency hotel is in a city centre location, very convenient for shopping and for street food nearby. Also legal courts, government buildings and lawyers offices are nearby, useful for people resolving legal issues. The hotel is popular with NRI's, ***y return every year and stay for several weeks. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, the shower is hot and powerful, staff are helpful and the food is delicious. There is free secure parking for guests. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The reception desk is open 24 hours, the staff are courteous and very helpful. A special mention for Chiragbhai, always very helpful. The hotel owner is onsite most of the daytime and will help resolve any issues you may have. The air conditioned lobby area is bright and clean, useful for meetings with visitors or networking with other guests. The cheaper rooms are smaller, basic, and have fewer facilities. The "Suite" rooms are the best and most expensive. The suite rooms have a three seater leather sofa and a four seater dining suite. The bed linen is changed every day and is clean. Other facilities are a small fridge, safe deposit box, flat screen TV, kettle, plug-in mosquito repellents, ceiling fans, as well as the A/C unit, everything works. Some rooms are newly decorated, other rooms are gradually being upgraded. There is no onsite restaurant but food can be ordered from the 24 hour room service menu and eaten in the room. The menu is vegetarian and has various Indian, Chinese and European meal options. Egg based meals are available. I have only tried the basic Indian meals which have always been delicious and have never caused any health problems. My compliments to the chef Ashwinbhai, let him know if you have any special dietary needs. Breakfast is included in the room rate and available in the food hall on the first floor, fresh fruit and complimentary water bottles are available in the breakfast hall. The bathroom is clean and has plenty of complimentary toiletries. There is no bathtub but a powerful and hot shower, with facility for a bucket bath. Some amenities are basic but overall good value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends.

Stayed there for an interim stop from Anand to Mumbai. While the hotel is stated to be Top Rated, I am really concerned how they have been able to classify. The Hotel is located in a crowded area but has car parking facility. The rooms are strictly OK from a 3 star perspective, the beds, the overall hygiene and room needs an uplift. The lobby on 2nd floor was having a weird small and so was the first room assigned to us had a foul smell in bathroom. In terms of food quality and hygiene, there is a complimentary breakfast but totally not worth it despite a free meal. There is a hygiene concern with cockroaches spotted twice - once in the breakfast plate and secondly at the menu spread. Also, a couple of places, small rats were spotted. Coming to the bathroom, linen and toiletries- they are all substandard. While they may be good for some local / economical travellers, it is definitely not recommended from a family standpoint and 3* standards. I wouldn’t recommend even if it is for one night halt

Hi Guys ! Checked in to Royal Regency hotel at Navsari. Cockroaches! Woken up at 2 am by Cockroaches running on bed. Needs proper pest control, m worried by the lacking hygiene standards. Don't go there.
