Okwin Resort - Nawalapitiya

We booked two rooms as someone from our group had stayed there a few years back and had a good experience. Few years later, 2024 our experience was terrible. Food was tasty but absolutely no selection. Then the rooms…… unclean, smelly bathrooms, please save your money

I went with my family and relatives and we thoroughly enjoyed the environment surrounded with full of nature. We enjoyed the western menu for lunch which cooked with high standards. Everything were on time as we expected. Special thanks for the F&B team and the entire hotel staffs.

Day outing program of our team comprising 34 members was coordinated and facilitated more than expected. Negotiated and obtained a reasonable package to suit us. Calm and nice place to gather, relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the layered water flow over the rocky surface. Nicely landscaped and well maintained premises. Caring and responsive staff. Highly satisfied & place recommended.

I recommend visiting this resort. Very quiet and has beautiful views and you can live with nature. One of the most beautiful resort I have seen. This is the 7th time to visit Sri Lanka for tourism and I miss this place all the year, because the place is very wonderful and I can enjoy the nice views and the sound of river flow. The staff are very wonderful and kind, their service is very excellent and helpful to us. The rooms are very wide, clean and the resort has a very beautiful view of the forest and the river. The food is very delicious and the service is very excellent. This place is very good - highly recommended for any occasion. Below review of Mohamed.J is not the truth, on that day I was there with my fellow mates , we had a day-out event , I was staying the same resort too. There is no out siders came to use the pool. the Pic Mr. Mohamed J has shared is the team who had the day-out event, and according to terms with the hotel the day-out package is inclusive of swing pool. so tis review done by Mr.Mohamed.J is totally misleading. I am shocked to see , he has used our teams' pic as the evidence to show as out siders. ( It’s totally a wrong statement Mr. Mohamed J ). And the team including the receptionist was amazing/ help us in many ways. ( I am sure they must have tried to explain Mr.Mohamed about the entitlement of the pool for the day out guests – which he has not accepted/convinced). I am sorry to say, if you look for dogs you will get only dogs , ( but Y ?!?) while there are many super sceneries and sites to see and enjoy. Here are few examples…. BAD SERVICE Experience wasn't expected since the behavior of staff was harsh & rude ,hope to have a proper management, the foods which was served is not well satisfied other wise the room and scenery was amazing! And the service which they gave also not much satisfied it delays tom much to serve guests Outside guest using swimming pool in house people for disturbance Very bad behaviour reception LADY Road dogs are coming to room🤣

Great location, scenic,next to a water fall, spacious, comfortable rooms, they upgraded us to superior rooms. Facilities excellent. Staff very friendly, supportive. Food quality and taste average, need improvement.

We went there in February 2023. It is one of the best stays I ever had. The staff is very attentive. The gem of the hotel is nearby waterfall. You can have a natural bathing experience without any trouble. Our room situated near the waterfall therefore much away from the restaurant. But we enjoyed the walk. Staff always encouraged us to dine inside the room. The service was great. Many thanks for Mr. Chinthaka.
